if u want to lvl faster in party or solo here is some suggestions;
put all points into POW. do not learn blazing, spend 6 point into POW
when u lvl 30 u should hit like lvl 35+
blazing is useful but if u have many pots or have a good aco u should be ok
( i have blazing but i dont use it all the time but still good)

put all points into POW
You sacrafice having more damage over your defense. As a Squire, You need to be able to take less damage than your teammates (makes less work for your acolyte!) - and it won't make you look like such a novice. o__o
Anywho, I put the majority of stat points into POW until I hit 30. I have dabbled into putting points into WIS (because I'll want to get Blazing eventually - but not before I hit 42+). I've started my POW/STA/MEN (2/1/1) build and it's working just fine for me. :> Then again, I also have all ap6 +1 equips on.. so I'm hitting twice what my level gives me. xD

Yeah I think that too we should take the damage and keep monsters away from other teammembers. It's gonna be more important in the advanced maps to have some guys staying in front who can take some real damage and also give some. At least thats what i think. I could be wrong of course.
Well I go with a 3/1/1 and some on stamina +learning blazing but thats just me..... and with the points in wisdom i even can use my skills almost as long as my hp goes down. so if i take a "sit" my mp and hp raise equally.

So, Eririn, if now all into Pow then what stat raise your def? Cause I've failed to notice that one.

the isn't a stat that increase defense. The closet equivilent is STA which raised HP

Some people have said that MEN increase the defense... Is it real?

It raises skill CASTING speed..
Which is useful when you want to kill something faster. Squires have really low attack rates, and by adding more MEN and AGI, I notice I die a lot slower.
But yeh, I add STR most of the time, but it's good to add on the other stats once in a while.

Yeah I got a (to me) weird build going.
every 10 levels;
6 points in POW
3 points in MEN
3 points in AGI
1 point in STA
Powerfull attacks with a fast attack rate and a higher crit rate with a good dodge rate. I bearly lose HP as it is unless am getting uber mobbed.

Mhh,
yeah iīm going on a similar trip.
3pow/1agi/1men
but i put stam on 6 and wisdom on 6.
It works just fine for me now. At least u donīt die so fast and loose precious expp.
On the other hand i do less damage with a bit higher att speed and a couple more critical hits with normal and skill attacks.
We wil see which builds goes better later around lvl 60 i guess.
Canīt wait.

That's the reason most fighters put into pow. We KNOW that the first levels are easier/faster with pow. And at level 66 we probably get a skill reset. So why bother with other stats until then? Level up easy and fast to knight, then start experiment :)
But if you wanna pvp i guess both of the aboves builds are great (except the agi part. i would put pow/men/sta only in a pvp build)

Because its not all about leveling, some people like to see the difference with using other stats, rather than start from lvl 66 and not be able to change them untill they implement the other classes.

I put points into Pow until I reach every 5th level. I take those extra points and split it between Agi/Sta. This allows me to farm better drops sooner, SOLO. More for me. XD Plus, it allows me to party effectively. Men is useful for certain play styles.

well well well.......... Iīm level 39 and I have:
POW 37
INT 1
AGI 7
MEN 1
STA 7
WIS 6
SO..... what do u think? I hit like 280 in the santaīs factory and I think MEN is not necesary cuz if u thrust in the MEN skill is gonna be dangerous when fighting; u want to know whY???
Cuz MEN is a percentage and is more smart having more STA like a fighter and having more POW like a fighter..... anyway: THE FIGHTER IS A DEFENSIVE UNIT!!! FOR GOD!! the knights are the best of the best in defense!! If u want to make really damage, forget ur fighter and use some mages cuz they are the real attack power.
I have 401 hp, and 82 mp

What do you mean when you lvl to 30 you'll hit lvl 35? xD
That doesn't make any sense.
But STA doesn't make you heal faster? o_o
And agi doesn't make your attack rate faster?
If they do, then do YOU personally, take a long time to heal?
Are you slow when you're attacking high lvl monsters?

I THINK BLAZING IS FOR NOOBS CUZ IT DONT REALLY DO ANYTHING AT ALL IM PRETTY MUCH PURE POW PLUS THE STA STAT GAIN DONT REALLI DO NOTHING CUZ THE MONSTERS ALWAYS ATTACK THE HIGHEST HITTER SO IF U WANT MORE EXP GAIN PUT MORE INTO POW/AGI/MEN STAT MAKES A GOOD CHAR IF U WANT TO GET MORE LVLS :p

let me clarify this, when u learn blazing u need to put 6 points on WIS. if u put 6 point on WIS rather on POW, then ur dmg will be less. Blazing is useful when get to higher lvl. it gave u 130+hp( i forgot how many, but around that number) thats just Blazing Lv 1. Blazing Lv2 gave u 150+hp(not worth it).
when u get to lvl 60+ ur HP will be 400+ without put any point on MEN. so its ur opinion to learn Blazing or not. ( i suggest u need to learn it, because u need more HP to tank). Squires will be sux if they cant tank!!!
ps: I dont think Blazing is for noob and its very useful.

to raise your defense, I suggest that you upgrade your armor because it is the best way to raise your defense just make the 2,1,1 pow, agi, sta, men or sometimes on wis never put in your int : ). lol

Does anyone know where I might find like tips for Secret of the Solstice?

It's 5 points into Wis to learn blazing. Not only does it bolster your HP, it's an area effect! Guess who benefits from it? 5 points into Wis is the equilvant of about 7 into Sta, so you just saved 2 points there. Slowly building up secondary stats won't effect damage that much. To break it down..
Pow: Base damage, and WT.
Agi: Attack, Dodge, Attack speed, Skill Critical<--, and I believe it effects accuracy.
Men: Hit rate, critical, and Skill Critical
Sta: 15HP per stat, HP regen, (checking to see if it lowers physical damage)
Wis: ?MP(forgot), Mana Regen, (checking to see if it lowers magical damage)
Simply adapt to your playstyle.
