Are magicians weak or useless in high levels?

I'm level 5x and I am definetely not useless... in a party we are the ones that stand back and fling the high damage spells, and we are also good for inflicting status effects on enemies (ice=slow, poison)...

and we're one of the first classes to get an AOE (area of effect) spell at lvl 56...

useless? heck no... all classes play a part, and we have our role to fill as well...

I find myself to be fairly useful in both a party and soloing at level 32.

With so few classes, it'd be hard to find a useless one.

we all get the same skills, how they work depends on our builds and how wisely we use them...

Very early on, mages are overpowered. At medium/higher levels the others catch up a bit. But mages are still very good.

as soon as i got my magic ice lvl 2 i can kill da highest levle monsters so far in da game updated but the exp is pretty slow so hunt monsters weaker for i would prefer monsters east of elf for lvl 40's cus u make good money their i make about 60k every trip unless i find something kool

no apprentices are not useless, im lvl 43 and i do great stable damage!!

Depends on how you use them and if you solo or party. Each App with self-respect gets the skills and equipment appropriate to their level, even if some are less used than others.(Magic Clear and Magic Shield for example before level 40+)

As well knows when and where to kite. No one runs into a horde in let's say Furendal and fires off Ice, Poison and Fire without checking the current aggro. ^_^'

And even though it's been said already, no, apprentices are neither weak nor useless in higher levels. Also, if you go duo with an aco, you tear right through any map with little to no trouble o.o

I love duoing with acos and archers. The monsters go super slow and there isn't anyone in my way when I'm trying to target.

im a megician and they r not useless they r one of the best characters to have. after lvl 36 u could ur unbeatable cause u always keep ur distance and u dont have to have a high stamina to go to stronger places.
when i was lvl 25 i trained alone in the candy vault place.

We mages are not weak or useless, everyone plays their part in this game. No one is useless, weak at times though depending on the lvl that you are at. Then again, you get stronger by the lvl supposivly.

:)right Now I'm Level 26 As Of (jan. 24), But I Think That Mages Are Fun To Use If You Have A Party Of Mages And Acolytes. I Mean If Your Partners Know How To Utilize A Mage's Skills Properly Then
The Enemy Can't Even Touch You Unless They Have Magic.

I Think Mages Are Even More Easier To Use In The Beginning Despite The Fact You Have To Keep On Using Mp Potions But Thats Y Opinion

Later On In The Game I Think The Mages Are Going To A Force To Be Reckoned With Since Mages Have Great Skills In Their Arsenals And
