A large number of people playing on the server is not going to be the sole reason, or possibly even a partial reason, for lag.

I think we're fine. Xenepic been around for so long, but they only have 2 servers.

It should be reminded that lag can come by 3 different factors or any combination of them:
-Lag from the servers, when the machines that sustain us themselves are having a hard time processing whatever it’s going on. This type affects all players.
-Lag from your ISP, when for some reason the connection they (your ISP) provide you is not compatible or has issues with the info/data coming from Outspark servers.
-Lag from your machine, when the lag is directly caused because your own comp can’t handle all the information that’s being received from the game.
So far, there has been absolutely no lag coming from the server, I’ve freeze and even dc from it like 4 times in the two weeks we’ve been playing, which is basically nothing, and considering how far away I live from the main servers, if I don’t experience lag, then the problem is definitely not coming from them, meaning that basically, any lag you have is directly or indirectly your fault.

Oh there sure has been multiple times. I've had times in parties where multiple users felt the same major lag spike when everyone in the party lives in different areas. It isn't a daily thing though so nothing major.

I haven't really noticed any lag at all, except for some rare, small, 30 second lag spikes.

In places like Santa's toy factory or whatever it is, I lag like helk. Once I get out, I lag like helk again so I have to log out, not play for about 7-15 minutes and I'm lag free. Yeh I admit I have a crappy computer but it's managble.
Except in stinking huge parties. Massive lag there, but not in the Brynhild Culvert WITH a massive party. It's enjoyable. </3

i rarely lag as well, the only time I think I have is when I was running Limewire/uTorrent or some other program, or even a variety at the same time...
i honestly dont think the server is responsible for any lag, but thats only my opinion, since I'm not really educated in the workings of servers and such...
and why don't people make a third option when they make Yes/No polls? i.e. Don't Care/ Don't Really Have an Opinion?

I have a lag sometimes... but it's not the game itself, the character will still move a little in their respective battle stance, but everything stops, Including monsters, which still do their bouncing, but not attacking.
10 seconds later, everything happens in 1 second, with like 5 illusion quakes comes down at the monster at once, and the monster attacks 10 times in 1 second. That's the lagg i always experience

There were very few moments of lag, like there's a small delay on actions. But I don't think those are something worth opening a new server for. They're small matters, every game can lag.
