Whats it take to start guild in fiesta??
I know in other games usually its money, on UO you had to have a house to place a guild stone to start a guild, On other game you had to do quests and had to have 6 people in a group who ALL wanted to start a guild.
So what is it on this game, Since I can't investigate for myself quite yet, I'll ask tho who have played since CB1. Whats it take guys?

You have to talk to the guild master and pay him 500 silver. So intell open beta i'd join a guild because if you don't have*very many members it can be hard.*

well if you want to start a guild yourself, youll need 500 silver...
but if you want to join a guild or is part of one now, you can help the guild leader by donating money so that the guild can be created in game quickly

*Exactly you don't have that long to recruit so you may not have very many members so it would be easiest to join one.

LOL Sorry you Guys. You aren't gonna pull me into joining one of yours, at least not untill I explore the option of starting my own.
I have a tradtiton of expanding a Guild of Mine, Making it a Universal Guild for many Games. Its called "Order of the Crimson Wolves [OCW]" and has been around for 9 years.
But thanks for the info you Guys!

Aduah - If you are just starting your first character during CB2 you won't be able to make a guild. The most money a single person gathered during closed beta 1 which lasted 2 weeks was 300 silver, and that's taking into account the unfair money advantage GMs gave with dropping treasure boxes that potentially contained 90s items. In open beta it would probably take a single person almost a month to gatehr 500s, starting from level 1.

Utakata, guilds are group experiences. Any game where you can start a guild all by yourself at like lvl 20 is bad. Cause you'll get all those 10 player guilds and little good guilds.
So Aduah, at the point of when you've decided to make a guild. It's better to recruit upfront, so that everyone can donate a bit so that the guild is created. And if you have 9 years of experience then it really shouldn't be too big of a problem to recruit people.
Just a common sidenote, at lvl 20 a player will have about 10 silver. Depends on how well they trade etc. But 10 silver ain't a bad average estimate.

I was going off the fact that (s?)he seemed to be determined to make it alone, before (s?)he started recruiting.
I am well aware that guilds are group experiences, Requiem has 91 members thank you >_>

Actually I know of at least 1 person who got above 1 gold, granted this was from event items so would be a completely different situation once the game is officially released.
@Aduah - so far there are 4 non-GM* created guilds in fiesta and as far as i know at least 3 of them were created because of a group of like minded people pooling their money together. Not sure about tachoink but they most likely pooled their money together as well.
It will take a long time for a single player to create a guild in OB especially without the flood of event items which sell for alot.* Best bet is to advertise what you plan on the forums if you're set on creating your own guild.

A comment was made about not having much time to recruit... is there a time limit?* or are you going off of the time the server is actually open for CB?* Some friends of mine are trying Fiesta out and thought about starting a guild.* but we weren't sure how.* This helped Thanks :D* Other question...* haven't played yet but did get an Invitation for CB2.* Is it easier to chat/find your friends ingame if you are in a guild?* (sorry I dunno how the chat system works )

Not neccaryily a time limit but a limit when cb2 teters will be off forms and on the game. So recruting would become harder without non-beta testers.

I will start a guild of my own once the full game goes live. I might join a guild for the rest of CB/OB. I am going to wait and see where Thesjaakie and ArchieTM go first/sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif
