Hey GM'S i was wondering and mabye some other people were......................................... Why cant we design our own Fiesta costumes? I mean if you purchased Sparkcash for 1 thing and then you still have this stuff left over so why dont you use it to make your own Fiesta costume im sure people would love it


O and if u decide to do that you might as well throw in a "Make your own Skill" thing on Fiesta store or something im SURE people would love that....

The amount of code behind such an idea is staggering.

Go look at other game's character creation stuff, there may be a lot of options, but that's a sheezload of stuff to code to render and manipulate.

no. the problem is not related to implementation difficulcies ( not really difficult to do ). it is related to the problem of data transmission. if you change a texture of your character it has to be transfered to anyone who could eventually see you - effectively EVERY user of Bijou would have to download the texture of your character and store it somewhere, which on one side requires horrendous amounts of both bandwidth and disk space. A 512x512 texture has a size of 1MB unless it is compressed, and compression is also limited. I think most players don t want fiesta to require X GB of user skinns and hours of login time in order to download the textures that were made since last login.

User models would furthermore reduce the game quality due to the fact model designers would maybe not implement all required animations...

And ... imagine the guys in elderine with a large coat having 'buy gold at mygoldsite.com' written on it...

Well atleast they should ask ppl for Ideas like they should put a "Inuyasha"Robe on there the muskrat robe would rock.....or Put some Bleach Bankai stuff on there or other Anime stuff :cool:

people (a majority of which are probably kids in a matter such as this) and their always wanting to steal others' ideas without any thought to the matter... and even if they were going to add something like the aforementioned ideas for costumes, they'd probably end up having to be ugly-looking knockoffs that nobody'd really want to pay for, anyways...
