here's my sad story .... i had just acomplished the 2 handed weapon quest , i was so proud, everything was like heaven, with my powerful axe, then the idea of refining it to 3 came across my mind, it failed at the first try and my axe dot deleted, now i have no weapon to make money and a new weapon costs 6 silvers. should i just give up on this char ?

It has been said a quite a few times "Don't encance if you can't replace the weapon" and "keep previous weapon untill you're 100% sure you won't need it"... Other than that try producing stones and such to make some money. Or farm with another char, then send materials and money to your main.

Just make a mage,

Buy firebolt only, no armor no weapons etc

Farm slimes till about lvl 6,\

then farm slow slimes till lvl 14.

You have alot of meat and SBL LQ. You should make around 40-50s within this time. SHOULD take 4 hours once ur good. And boom u can now buy a +7 weapon or w/e for your lvl.

well, you are never going to make an "enhancement god" if you are discouraged by just one weapon blowing up. if you want a +3 weapon you need to start with at least 5 of them or pay real life money for perfect eyes/miles from the fiesta cash shop.

if this is another "i want an uber weapon and i'm not prepared to spend money or work for it" whine, frankly i have no sympathy, deal with it or quit, your call.

if this is genuinely the first weapon you have tried enhancing then you do deserve a hug as a 6s weapon breaker is a bad way to find that out. if you had followed the quest path - with the dire warning you - try - to give guard Nus as he legs it off with the elrue you just bought him, you might have had an idea of the danger. it is a dicey journey even getting a weapon to +1 - i bought 6 weapons from the smith in Reomen and every single one exploded on first attempt. that is a record which nobody has so far claimed off me! :)

ask yourself - what is the big deal in enhancing weapons anyway? why bother? by the time you have worked hard to afford to buy all the weapons you need (and a total exploding frag fest session at the smith) to get that uber +9 sword to wave round Reomen and get a train of noobs running after you demanding to have it, you will be at the point where you will be needing the next teir weapon up. a weapon is only good for about 25 levels, after that you out grow it anyway - then it is just under powered junk to join the mass of old weapons which you can pick up in elderine for buttons.

enhancing is a mugs game, and i figured i can make more silver selling stones in Reomen overnight than grinding mobs for drops all day. then having made a packet there i can afford to breeze into elderine and do some serious shopping! :D

take a hike, "Item Spoiler" is a cool title to wear. i have got to save up enough cash to get "Item Bankrupt" - i think that is about 50 weapons exploded in one session. i've seen it once and i really want to earn it, but it is going to take a lot of cash even if i just trash tier 1 weapons.

there should be a "Smith's Favourite" title for people who destroy 1000 items or more. :)

You shouldn't give up. Today I had a problem like that. I had a +4 enhanced staff and I went to further enhance it. It broke and it was quite sad but I'm not going to give up and quit because of it. I honestly think you shouldn't either :D

yap u're right, i finaly made it : ) with teh first sword of the game i did some grinding and sold everything i had ( aside from my gears ofc ), i was able to buy the axe i wanted and now i can do again my awesome dmges o.o btw shame skills are glitched with 2 handed weapons ... ruins the fun, hope they're working on fixing it up

Another way to replace a destroyed weapon is simply start a new character, put his weapon in storage and let your old character pick it up. Then delete the new unarmed guy. Two advantages are that you only need to transfer one item, and that the experience for the killing you need to do goes to your main character.

At lvl 20 I also borke my weapon. I would suggest just buying a lvl 15 weapon until you have the money for a lvl 20. Thats what i did :)

So i hear u can enhance kinda like Knight online and such , so what does a +9 weapon do? glow or something? if so does any other lower + glow?

I broke my Roumen bow after enhancing it to +1. Fortunately, I had kept my +6 Light Bow and used it until I got a +5 crossbow from a Mara Pirate's KQ.

Bad story I have (I got the Item Spoiler title from this) I broke a +8 Axe (6s) And I was so sad but I thought ahead. We went to King Marlone and we killed him and I got a King Marlones Axe So I wasnt completely upset But I was happy :) (Also had a +5 Roumen Sword)

Yeah but all mine were mainly +6 Spiked Club(s)(lvl 15), I got a King Boogy's mace club thingie (lvl 15) from a friend, I got it to +4 and it broke, 5 +6's, 1 +4, and 15s for stones, maybe bout 40+s in porfit down drain.
