summary of the first 2 kqs in the game

1,king slime quest

7-16** your at a mountain called eddy hill, you and your team mates kill all the monsters in sight to open the gate.3 or 4 gates. when u get to the top the kingslime comes out and starts spawning other monsters. the best thing to do is kill the king first and then worry about the other monsters. reward is king slime jelly ear rings and a weapon that is usually refined

2,mara pirate quest

this one is new to cbt2, and its for lvl 17-25(?) marapirates are......being piratey.oh no. u hav to kill all of

*them. it takes place at an extremely long dock in the sea of greed. theres boogies, mini pinkies, and all of te mara pirate monsters. after u kill all of the monsters on the dock u make it to the pirate ship and kill some boss, i think its a mara pirate queen type of thing. reward is an item and a weapon

extra- class change quest

once u get to lvl 20 u can advance your class, its basically a name that lets u buy lvl 20-60 armor. im only going to summarize the dungeon of shadow part

mages-as many sp and hp stons as u can fit, magic defense scroll, about 30-50 sp and hp pots( this is more than needed but just to be safe)

archers- defense scrolls and pots, stones

clerics- plenty of sp to heal?

warriors-pots

u basically are in a dungeon and u hav to kill an exact copy of yourself. try to kill it and it runs away. kill the monsters u see in the dungeon and when u see a blue light beam folow it to the end. then the copy of u spawns monsters and trys to kill u. once u kill the copy u get a scroll and the quest is complete. dont be suprised if it takes more than 2 trys to complete the quest

Oh j3sus... that sounds like fun... and I stopped CB1 lvl 19, almost 20... So it looks like I will be taking time to get that Class Change quest... -.-" Thank you for the info, though... I was wondering about the KQ after the 7-16 one... I only saw that one, and one for people lvl 40+ or something like that... it looked HARD!!!

Oh my, they had time to rest in their houses, waiting for mobs to spawn.

Mage AOE definitely makes a big difference.

You don't need magic defense scroll for mage quest. Also don't need any pots, just stones.

magic defense makes it extremely easy to do the quest if u are a mage, becuase u are fighting a copy of u its doing nothing mut mage spells......

i used the defense scroll, but my friend used pots and stones

we both got it the second try, first try we both died the first minute cuz we didnt no wat to expect

well it seemed more intense then it did in the vid, i couldnt count the number of mobs chasing me cos there were so many, perhaps this is one of the differences between the two version or i was just panicking ^^

Actually Jim...The magic attack isn't used that often and it's easy to survive it with one tier 1 vitality scroll. The real pain is the physical attacks it uses.

JimJimster

when u say it do u mean the monsters that your clone spawns or the copy

lunelune

I mean both I guess. You take out hte marlones early so they aren't trouble but while fighting your clone there are the golems, and then your clone also has a physical move that deals around 80 damage WITH a defensive scroll, not sure without. Keep in mind it's the main attack and is used a lot, and 80+ damage saps a mage fast nromally. The magic attack it uses itself isn't really used that much at all in comparison.

I like to add, don't enter KQ unless you're level 10 or you're totally useless. Fighters and Clerics, prepare to use scrolls if you want to tank, cause the monsters are doing alot of damage to you. Monster there can kill Mages and Archers in 2 or 3 hits, so even Mages and Archers might need Def scrolls.

Correction: You don't have to kill all of them, if you do that, you'll run out of time and fail.
You need to clear a path and progress as fast as possible. Only kill pirates that prevent progression.
At about 2/3 to the end, you'll encounter 2 boss. Mara and Marlone. Dispatch them one at time.
Once you reach the boat, you'll have to kill again Mara and Marlone, but they are hidden within clones. Find the real ones.
