Open Beta Concerns

Alright here's the deal. I don't know much about this Open Beta stuff because i've never played a game during it's Open Beta phase.

All i know is that "Open Beta" is like a server for players to play on to test out the game for the developers.

Well my concern is, Am i lvling like crazy to reach lvl 66 for NOTHING? I mean will this "Open Beta" thing end sooner or later and a new server be created and all of the effort i'd put would go to waste?

Also, is this game gonna be free forever or only for now?

Im having a lot of fun playing SoS but i can't get these concerns out of my head so i'd really appreciate it if someone would give me the answers im looking for. Thank you.

well the GMs have said that there will be no character wipe after open beta but I'm not sure if they're gonna have another server or not...and the game will still be free to play because they'll set up a cash shop to support it...

we don't know when they will be available. If you want to see how they look, put in a google image search, Xen Online already has them

edit:scratch that, wait til SolsticePlayer is back up, theres some images there

yeah there probably will not be a chareacter wipe because they will probably just add a patch or expantion for it to be finalized. and wow lv 66 lolz!:D:eek:
