Go to Roumen, find Ancient Templar Maria (see the link above), then talk to her. You should be able to see the option called "Move". Click on that and there should be a "pop-up" asking whether you wish to move to Sea of Greed. Click "yes" and you should be there. Boogles are aggressive turtles (they're not slow), so I recommend you to be around level 15 before going there. To go back to Roumen, find Ancient Templar Maria again and click "yes" to go back to Roumen. ^_^

I found them at the Forest of Tides in the bottom left part of the map and 2 more at the top left part of the map. Gang Imp is always with them and all 3 of them will start attacking when you get close to them so stock up on Potions ^^

I got troubles whit the quest: Bored Imp Instigator, when i want to check out this quest in the quest windows, pop up an error and kick me off of the game. Same when i try to finish talkin whit the npc. What i have to do?

where can I find it? ratman fighter

There are many places where you can find it. The most "popular" spot is in the middle island in Forest of Mist. From the Sand beach gate, head for the direction of Luminous Stone gate. Continuing heading straight pass the Luminous Stone gate and just before the bridge to the north island, stop. There should be a ratman fighter there if no one else has killed it yet.

There is a pair of them in Forest of Myst. Open the map and see where the mysterious dark elf is. You will see them after crossing the bridge.

A couple things I noticed in this thread.

Mara is first found on that big hill in the sea of greed, on the island holding the gate to Burning Hill. (in the middle of the camp, so be very careful, she seems to have that ninja instinct to appear out of nowhere, so if you got 1 cleric only, be VERY careful)

To kill Mara, get a party of 5 people, and go at her like she was a KQ boss (seeing as how she is a chief type monster, not general like boogies, this should be a warning...)

Alternately, if you want the cheap way out, befriend a high level player into your party to kill her for ya. (and if you are dead at the time, unless they changed it, you should still get credit for the kill if someone in your party gains the kill, that is how I got EVERY chief monster for all my quests that needed them so far, while lying on the ground dead)

A couple more notes for chief monsters, for the most part, they carry an AOE (area of effect) attack, that mostly centers on the area immediatly in front of them (there are exceptions, like a certain KQ boss that jumps then slams down to cause an earthquake) so if you can't take the hit, stand behind them, and attack from as far away as possible.

(if you get too near to the attack, even though you are still behind the monster, it will get you, because it has a large radius, usually to the monster's far end of its being targeted circle, because it centers on the one the monster is focusing on, more or less...)

umm. I think the info on the King Slime KQ is off. Slime KQ quest 3 gives 9k+ exp or so...

where do I find Phinos? I see smart Phinos but not Phinos.

You can find Phinos at the Forest of Mist and they will drop their Phino hats.
Directions:
Go to the teleporter NPC in Roumen (easier) and then click on Forest of Mist. You will find plenty of Phinos there and you may have to kill more then 5 Phinos to get the Hats.

Try to go to Mara KQ. You can kill mara there. Much easier that way.

You see the map at the right hand corner? Look at the sides until you see the Hour-Glass picture. (If you do not know what an Hour-Glass is, please look it up on google.)
And then just click on it and then scroll down to the very bottom. Click the very bottom one (but first you have to check to see if the time is right) and then click participate at the bottom left hand corner and the maximum is 15 players and then your on the go. :)

In my opinion this quest "guide" is nothing more than a summary of what the npc's show.Just the "tips" that are given are good,sadly those are missing at many of the quests.Like from 9~20 there are no tips,I need the locations of the mobs

Ofcourse i'm glad with what other ppl add,like locations of mobs and such.

stay in the green and do lots of KQ as much as possible . when i say stay in green kill any mob that is green avoids death anf much faster kills and exp over time good way to go and get feel of game. enjoy ^^

kq quests you have to join and kill monsters in that specific kingdom quest

If you've talked to the NPC and clicked the first option (it's always the first option, whether it's "I'll do it!" or "You can count on me!" or something like that), you should have the quest accepted. Hit L to access your quest log and then head off and kill what needs to be killed or gather what needs to be gathered.

Drop and destroy the Ex Elrue. It's pointless. Buy a normal Elure[1] from either Item Merchant Pey or from a vendor. Then you can enhance.

This thread was started 2 years ago and hasn't been edited since December of 2007. The exp rates are correct for the rewards at that time. The quest rewards were nerfed to make the game easier for new players to level.

Yes,you do need to do lvl 20 promotion also you can't wear any lvl 20 stuff unless you pass the promotion.
To do the promotion go to Shutian in Elderine then go to Forest of mist and go to Grand Master Sean.Remember the promotion is NOT easy for mage you need higher tier hp/sp buff if you got low one get t2 vit scroll and t2 def scroll.

I have this quest in my quest list. I tried to kill as many speedy honeying as I can, but the counter doesn't add up. It says that I haven't kill any speedy honeying. Any idea how to solve this?

Alicina, killing Mara in KQ doesn't give you the Mara kill...'cause Mara in KQ is called Charismatic Mara. It's an entirely different monster. To get the 'Mara' kill, you really have to go to Sea of Greed and kill her there.
