First Language?

Im just wondering what the primary language of SOS players are. Im assuming its english and i speak english myself, but im actually having trouble communicating with alot of other players. Is it because most players dont consider english their first language and speak spanish or something else better or is it because of the lack of maturity in the player base? There are some people i have been able to carry on a useful conversation with, i realize that. Im just saying there are alot of people who dont talk great english. (not that its a bad thing) just wondering. =p

Korean was my first language, though I was taught English ever since I was a child. But I'm also taking Spanish classes at Highschool, so that'll officially be my third language as well.

English is mine, but im currently learning spanish at school and self-teaching japanese for my freind

My first language would be spanish, and second language is english which I consider myself fluent enough.

it's not in the language my friend. it's the culture. Solstice players come from varied cultures. to some culture a language or gesture may be offensive but for some it's not. think of it this way, would a lion think hunting for food is savage? no, because that is their way of life. To us, it is savage anyway. have a good day!

First off, i dont think hunting for food is savage. Secondly im only asking what peoples first language is. Im sure many people are from different cultures.....i dont see what your getting at? o.o

anyway, my first and only language is English, i had an attempt at learning French but i failed...

its kind of odd that you only added 2 langauges and then added the rest as "other"

im not familar with asian cultures really, so i didnt want to sound stupid. and i just assumed the majority was english or spanish, guess i was wrong =P

Eh.. English is my first language, despite being asian. :P My household taught me that language alongside with my native language (which is hmong, but only a few of you would know that now ;P). And also because I'm an American, so I speak English all day everyday (even around my parents ;P). I also studying Latin and Spanish in highschool and now I study Japanese at my local University. :D

I find that the SoS Community has a ton of players from Brazil and The Phillipines. xD *waves to friends* Yes, I've not a problem with other players who speak other languages. But it's hard to communicate within a party if no one speaks English very well besides myself. So I feel where you are coming from. x_x;

my first language is english, but i have a great vocabulary, and an interest in language. only problem is that i cant concentrate on any one language long enough to actualy call it a second language.. i know different words or phrases in over 10 different languages( i add a language to my list if i know at least five words, what they mean, how to pronounce each corectly, and how to wright it)

i have a few friends at my school who speak hmong :), so i'll be one of those "few" that knows what that sounds like! :D

Chinese is my first language, but I can speak English.

well i am mexican soo my first language its the spanish i also can speak english but i think the basic language for all its the english cuz every1 speak it right?
