Iggy, some people will even tell you that RuneScape is worth playing which I personally won't even dare to touch.

Just experience it for yourself. Anyone on this board will say yes. Otherwise they wouldn't be on this board, now would they?

I was very disapointed by the first Closed Beta. I'll give it another shot, and if not much has changed i'll be pretty much done with the Fiesta. The core game isn't that good to being with.file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/JANECK%7E1/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-5.jpg

Yo dude, it's called "beta" for a reason. Beta stages always suck. There are always glitches. You gotta keep on testing the game out until full version comes out. The full version is always the best. But you always gotta give the game a chance. Just because it's in beta doesn't mean it sucks.

As for Runescape, too many strict rules and the staff is unfair. Graphics are horrible but overall gameplay is alright. The community is kinda slacking.

Depending on the type of player you are, certain games may or may not interest you but you gotta give it a shot. When the "beta" title disappears, you gotta try out the full version. After you try out the full version for a while, then you can judge it. Closed beta lasts for a couple weeks and depending on how many things need to be updated, it may take a couple beta stages, then it will open up into "open beta" where everyone can test out the game (since all the main bugs have been patched up). Open beta lasts for a loooong time as the game managers try to improve the game to it's very best. Once they're satisfied, it's on to full version /sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif

EDIT: Oh and as for the "is it worth trying?" part, yea it's a great game. Give it a shot. Look at what everyone's sayin in the forums.

Beta's do not always suck, what betas do you usually test? RO2 was decent, as was flyff beta, those are just a few I beta tested that I thought had good potential. Fiesta beta 1 was decent as well, although some things were missing and yes there were a few glitches it was all good because those things are expected. As for the core gaming system, it doesn't really lack anything persay, if you are looking for a game where you can just hack and slash your way to the end you can't really do that here, as skills are a fundamental part of the game. The party system (in cb1) was horrible, making it more beneficial to solo as well as faster. But I believe in the second stage many bugs should be fixed, as well as the implementation of new content, so just give it a try. If you do not like it you can always leave, no big deal.

P.S - And of course everyone whose at these forums is going to be biased towards fiesta. If you want opinions in general try digging up some threads on onrgp.com or some other mmorpgs site. Don't try to look for opinions of the game on the site that host the game.

Well, in short, Fiesta is pretty basic and pretty generic on the core level. Stats are somewhat limited, but there is room for building your character a certain way, although some things could use tweaking. Classes are very limited, and unbalanced, which I wouldn't expect from a ported game - it should already be balanced pvp-wise. But yeah the classes are limited to 4 generic classes, which is kind of annoying but I can let that slide because usually innovative ideas generally get neglected and people tend to have the ideal of "if it's not broken don't fix it" and won't try an innovative class. [DOFUS actually had some quite interesting class choices] Kingdom Quests are a big plus, basically instances you can run with your guild or a PUG to get lots of exp and items [which the items are overpowered IMO... takes the fun out of upgrading]. Modeling is very innovative so far, and I don't feel like I'm fighting the same enemies I've fought in MMORPG's for years. Honeyings, Greenky's, Mage Staves, Kebings, Phenos, Mushrooms, and Ratmen are pretty innovative models/enemy ideas. So the core could actually use some work but we won't see that happen, but at least it isn't every other MMORPG: grind, get max level, do nothing else.

Runescape must be a good example to use for comparison against Fiesta?

As for beta stage sucking, ok, I must admit it doesn't suck that much....honestly, it doesn't suck at all. My point was that beta stages aren't designed to offer the best experience. You gotta give it a chance because the word "beta" means like 'to test'. You gotta test the game and see if anything needs improvement.

If you're looking for a new 'time-filler',it*will be up your street.

Battle clerics help too. But try it for yourself.
