I've seen quite a few acos past 45 that are going the cleric path. But indeed it will be the class with less people in it, that’s for sure.

In my case, I made my aco with the sole purpose of becoming a predictor/templar, but I have to say I did enjoy being an aco a lot and I almost stayed that way… but in the end I just realized that if I didn’t like the temp life, I could just make a new aco, whereas the aco life wouldn’t change much till 66, at which point if I didn’t like the cleric life… it would suck xd

I can honestly say that over have the acos I partied with (who were higher level than me) suddenly poofed into Templars. 66 is a long way, but we'll make it!:p

When I get to level 66 i will definitly become a Cleric no matter what,and if anyone is in my way or anyone elses I will do my best as a Cleric to help
no matter what the risk is! ^_^

Uh, you're quite mistaken. Priest is level 96. She's a Cleric. XD
To become Cleric, you need level 66, red, yellow and blue demon blood and the level 50+ weapon and armour.

i think its good this way that there's not many clerics around because when i become 1, then that means I can be one of the "few". still a long time though, im only lvl 41-less than 20% to 42!!

While you're spending time as an aco make a conscious attempt to see what you enjoy doing more. Healing people or raping mobs. Should make your decision a heck of a lot easier.

I'll skip talk about a Cleric due to your knowledge of Acolyting anyway...

A Disciple is only really an attack version of the aco o.O
Granted we can fight, but our attacks still hold true to the base class: support oriented.
Burning Hands is a 15 second Spirit spell, Time Shield removes a single enemy from combat (sometimes), Eurosia is an MP buff, Brace Up and Protection are localized Fist Up and Bless respectively, and Assist Heal is great if the damage being taken isn't obnoxiously absurd. Maxed out, my defense is currently only ~20 points less than a Knight, so Disciples make pretty decent tanks. Even Chain Block (70% till I have it T_T) is supportive: pulls the mobs AWAY FROM OTHERS to damage them and lower their attack. It's usually not used as an attack in regular combat as far as I know...I can only name six people off the top of my head (soon to be seven XD) that have it and I don't party with them o_O;

Clerics are support, healing aspect; Disciples are support, combat aspect.
Put simply O_o

well...not having that meny clerics around might actually turn out to be a good thing for those that put in the work to get to be clerics because that just means that they will be that much more valuable to partys

i have two acos.. one will be disciple and the other will be cleric.. although i think i will be going disc first.. from the way things are going.. hunting for items and making kron will be much easier for those not too dependent on MP.. ^_^

IMO I would make a cleric first. Because then you will get the hard work over with first. Then it will be like pfft I can get level 45 no problem. You will be pro aco/cleric if you go cleric first.

yes i know and normally i would go that way.. but i want a pet.. T_T and hunting items for pets might be difficult coz with an aco/cleric you always share the loot.. lol..

one thing is for sure though i will have a disc and a cleric.. im probably sticking with just two.. i dont like how the other chars look.. and its very important for me that my chars look COOL.. lol..

We don't start as Cleric in SoS. Acolyte is the first class and at lvl 66 is Cleric.
