In some smaller areas, it is hard to find someone who better fits a match for you, emotionally, physically, and mentally, and finding the chemistry that is there can be even more difficult. Sure, I admit I'm skeptical about online romances, and honestly, I've participated in some before, as well, but it doesn't mean the relationship is devalued any because there's no physical touch.

Heat of the moment, physical passion, such things die out over time, or lose importance, so those relationships online that can remember what bound them together in the first place, are actually sometimes stronger than those forged irl.

Valence is on Apoline, only 24. Alden on Bijou is level 40. XD But I play on all servers so that at times, I can come online, and troubleshoot and help new players with the game.

My main archer is lv29 (still got to level her), a lv12 cleric, a lv2 fighter that I use as the storage guy, and a lv2 archer that I created yesterday trying to prove something to my friends... going to delete her though. Hey, look at where my lv2 archer is now. :D I walked her all the way from Roumen - didn't use any scrolls! XD

You shouldn't judge people by the things they do. You cannot generalize everyone in just any way. There are very few things that you can generalize about people. You can generalize the women by calling them women. You can generalize people by calling them human. You cannot generalize people by what they do. People do different things for different reasons. Calling women "nerdy" and "ugly" based on them playing a game is stereotypical. Besides that, people have their own opinions on appearances. Maybe theirs is different than yours. Maybe "nerdy" women turn other people on. Just because you like something does not mean others will. Everyone has a different taste.

Although I don't exactly agree with the terms of this thread, I cannot totally disagree. Finding a relationship online is not something anyone should suggest. However it doesn't mean it won't work. The problem is that your online self has a tendency to alter from your true self. Showing up in person may be a disappointment to the both of you.

Although I wouldn't suggest looking for a relationship in a bar, either. These days, a bar isn't usually a place where people just talk. It's a place where you'd better have a designated driver on hand. Unless you like that sort of thing, I'd just go out. Get out of the house and just walk around. You're bound to run into someone someday. just give it some time, okay?
