Well I think all those events have a very big problem. First thing thhe only way to know Your oponents level is to ask him. And lol You expect us to thrust everyone? There should for sure be an option to see oponents level or else such thing has totaly no sense.

Second part is the pots restriction usualy to 100. Got a question there who is checking how many pots both sides used? Noone which means the limit is totaly uncontrolable. if you want to create such limits then give a way to control it or else You are just seting stupid rules which noone follows. Well maybe few people but as I saw till now the pots limit in duels is the limit of how many they brought.

To sumarize. Give us some equality in those events and ways to follow the rules. Couse you cannot expect us to thrust everything our oponents say. Sorry but this has totaly no sense if a level 70 Archer will chalange a level 50 archer teling him he is same level as his. The level 70 would not even get punished couse the other guy agreed. Realy think about it or else those events will stay fun but surely not fair :/

let me point something out...

did you see what happened to CIG for lying and tricking a lower level into dueling him?

Rider intervened and PK'ed him (player killed)... therefore showing what a GM will do if someone tries to cheat the system...

and honestly, the GM's are only human, they can only do so much... and as for pots... you can carry up to 250 pots (unless the rules changed) and an UNLIMITED amount of food... which makes up for pots...

the rules are fair... and if you honestly expect someone to tell you their level honestly... you need a lesson in MMORPG's...

for example... do you go up to someone and ask their weight? and then expect them to tell you the truth should they choose not to?

cut the GM's some slack man, they can only do so much...

Fire as You saw I'm not taking here about GM taking a measure but the game creators. I mean something like pot count usage on arena and if you reach limit something happens to notify the others that the oponent cheates.

couse this thing with pots is like a joke. Yesterday I saw a mage duel and lol I proly counted wrong couse they used mana pots so much but if i'm not misteaking they both used like 200+pots when the limit at the start of event was clearly 100. Ofcourse they could also use herbs for mana and food for hp, but does such dueling realy have sense? I mean a duel should be equal chances both sides got like 60 mana pots 40 hp pots. No food no herbs. Because the duels now are more about who has more cheese / majoran not about who has better skills or even tactics. Well the tactic part in duels here is kind of misplaced term :P Couse i didn't see even a possibility of a tactic here:P Mages hit magic fire on each other, archers shoot arrows, and so on :P

But well I'm that kind of guy that likes to point out all bad sides :P Thought I realy hope something will be done about the fairnes in duels couse Rider kiling Cig as an example realy isn't something that could stop the cheaters. Only strict ingame conditions which indicate cheaters to all would be efective.

I suggest like the player who used over the pots limit in a duel starts to glow yellow and gets overweight. And this would alow a GM to also see the cheater and take measurements. Think it would be fair.

I believe the GM's are trying to organize the event better and better. Yesterday was a example if you were in CB and in the other duel events you would see a xenian fighting a lvl 4x fighter. The 5 levels thingie was a pretty well thought rule.
And rider tried to put some order on the people who had a dueling partner and those who didn't, but some people wouldn't listen :S
The pots problem I agree the herbs and food can be unfair. Also I think those mages you probably read the forum information only - because it said 100 hp pots max, then rider in the guild plaza said 100 COMBINED max pots. Some people just don't care about when rider explains it, I must have seen him repeat "must be within 5 lvls" and "need a pm from both" like 10? 15 times.

I think they will find a way to make it better with time, so have faith and patience^^;

Other then that like I told rider *thumbs up*.

Wrong.

He never killed me. He just warped us back to the stands.

And no, you can only carry up to 100 pots MAX in a Solstice Survivor: Duels.

ooooooo

then the 100 pot max was one even I missed...

good thing I was full on herbs and such then... that could have been bad (I rarely bring more than 100 pots as it is, since I have truckloads of herbs and food)

and he didnt PK you? I saw him attacking you...

*shrugs* guess i was wrong...

I have another complain, in todays Apprentice PVP, there were mages in there, and of course, they were supperior, there should be a way to avoid this situation.

Yep there were no mages :) But You could proly misteake Magius for a mage couse of his high damage but he is just a very highlevel aperentice :) And yes apperentices use magic fire :P So don't be so surprised :)

I have another complain, in todays Apprentice PVP, there were mages in there, and of course, they were supperior, there should be a way to avoid this situation.It only seems superior if you are a lower level than they are. All class battles are that of chance. If you take a look at the mages head gear you can determine just about what level they are and try to avoid them for a period of time and fight one with the same head gear as yourself. This way you know you have somewhat of a chance.

I do have to comment about the duels though. If people would stop gabbing when Rider is trying to explain all the rules people would not be in such a predicament; but instead of people being quiet, Rider's rules and explanations get filed in between all the nonsense.

As for the pots issue, Rider does in fact give the limit and such before the warping into the arena. He is only one person and can only do so much which includes hosting the event, giving the rules, transporting people both to the arena and the fighting arena, catching those who are cheating and also keeping an eye on everyone else. I would just say deal with it. It is just one event among many other great events, not everything can go our way. ^^

I hope there will be future events with NO pots. I don't see the point in wasting your cash for a duel. You shouldn't be allowed pots in a duel lol. (food aswell). IMO, when you enter a PvP area you should loose the right to use potions (I don't mean the gm watches over everyone and see who uses them, I mean something within the game that cancles the use of pots / food. PvP is ment to test the strength of characters in fair fights. Through the use of potions and food, the strongest doesn't win. The guy with the food that fills his weight to 1000 wins. The guy with the 100 food that heals 100 hp and 50mp.
