Hi,

First of all, I am lvl 36 fighter full END.
After a long break from Echo cave i decided to go and mine some ores.
Then i thought, lets kill some phinoflys without weapon or armor.

I took off my weapon and armor, this is what left on me: necklace +8% illness rez; earring +100HP +1% crit; +9 END ring; +8 END +7 DEX ring.

My stats:
Dmg = 13
Def = 119
Aim = 88
Evasion = 88
M.def = 57

I attack the phinofly and hit constant 20's on it, while it hits me 34-44.

Then, after casting Demoralizing hit[2] on pinofly, it began to hit me same 34-44, but notably more 40's this time. Without demoralizing hit, they hit 34's more often.
NOTE: While fighting Wild Imps(green to me now), Demoralizing hit lowered Imps damage from 20 to 12.

Next, i put on all my armor (no weapon).

My stats:
Dmg = 13
Def = 311
Aim = 88
Evasion = 184
M.def = 145

Guess what. I now hit constant 39's !!! They hit me 13-17.

Again, casting Demoralizing hit on pinofly caused only increase in higher damage frequency. Same 13-17 damage, but now i saw much more 15's ; 16's and 17's.


So there, you have it. My research results state that having higher defense OR evasion OR mage def OR all of them together, raises the damage you can deal to monster.

Please NOTE, i tested this on very low level monster, the results could be different or same at fighting my own level monsters.
