Hey, I've made a squire (level 16) and I was wondering where to put my stats. Some say 2 STR then 1 AGI, on the other hand, people say Pure STR. Which one should I choose? Or should I choose another build?
Many Thanks,
Congee.

I think a lot of squires will disagree with me on this, but I think a 3 pow, 1 agi, 1 men would be a good build for squires. Ur main focus should be on the damage you do, agi and men just make ur attacks faster and give u a few critical hits and decent dodge. But maybe not start that build until about 25 or so? U dont see a big difference with the speed of ur skills until u can get at least 10 points into men.

The speed of the skills? 10 points in MEN give a better attack rates?

AGI improves attack speed...which is really useless (it also increases Normal Critical Rate...which is also useless)
MEN imporves skill delay, this is good (it also increase Skill Critical, which is also good)
it makes me wonder why we all use the 2 POW 1 AGI build and not 2 POW 1 MEN....

>_> I'm on a 2:1:1 build, [POW/STA/MEN]. Works good for me. XP

I'm not sure on this, but I don't think Men improves upon the speed of the Slash! skill. Men improves casting speed which is represented by a blue charge guage. I don't see one for Slash! Somone should check that.
Last I checked, Agi increased Skill Critical. Men improves both Crit and Skill Critical.
You use Pow/Agi if you prefer to spam the Slash! skill. From AGI you get points to POW and Skill Critical. With Men you for a Squire better Skill Critical. Casting speed, Crit, and Dodge aren't important for a Squire. Plus I believe Agi effects accuracy and not Men, someone should check on this.
Also, a balanced build will beat out any other build at the end. Once Att. Speed is at 1 sec or less and Men is built to a decent level; alternating attack/skill will be more effective. But, skill spamming for a squire will still be the fastest damage dealing method. This is because Slash! is double normal damage plus the bonus from skill book II, III.
Men is best suited for people that alternate attack/skill, but you will have to neglect another stat to make it worth while. Men could help in PvP for pot conservation, but using skills wisely can save points there. Skip Agi if you want Men instead. Pow, Sta/Men.

It certainly does look like MEN is much better for now, but suppose at a really high level a fighter could obtain enough AGI that his attack speed is 0.6 seconds, or something along those lines. At that point, an AGI fighter could be really good, especially since a normal attack critical is double damage, whereas a skill attack critical is *not* double damage. Plus, with the insane attack rate, he might not need to skill spam all the time which would save mp potions, too.
For me, the difference between normal attack criticals and skill attack criticals works this way: my normal attack deals 80 damage to a specific monster, then I will deal about 160 on critical. However, skill attack does 220 damage to same monster, but skill attack critical damage is only about 270. Nice, but the increase in damage is not as impressive as in a normal attack.
And so, perhaps a really high level fighter with really good attack speed could pile on damage faster than a skill spamming fighter? Especially if both have good critical chances? Suppose the normal attacking fighter only does the same amount of damage in a given period of time than the skill fighter, that would still be an advantage in terms of saving money from not having to use as many mp potions.

Slash does have a charge gauge, its short but by getting a bit of MEN it'll be even faster
why do you keep putting a "!" on the end of "Slash"?
