Try to kill rabbits, i gather 2% of exp per Para Rabbit, on your lvl. I'd level from 20-25 in there and gather a lot of equips. but i spend a lot of MP pots

It's up to you if you can kill those crowned slime with just 4to5 hits, I think it's still good to level there.

um yeah do what he said do it in death valley with a party tho alot faster
then work your way to mystery hill and stay there a while
u should get to 30 pretty easy and stay in mytery hill for a while after that

Out of Essene (west or east, obviously, not to the north) it's quite easy to solo till lvl 30. The loot won't be great obviously, but it can be done. Otherwise, from the east of essene, going one map further (rabits and ruby flyes) can also give quite good results even past 30, though on lvl 20 it may be too much to kill fast enough for the exp to be good.
