As the title says, I am new to this game (currently level 15) I've been told to change class I need to be level 16, except to change to an archer or templar, where I must be level 45. Am I allowed to go rogue at level 16 then change to templar later? I am confused as what I can do. Please explain this to me in some detail, THANKS.

neophyte (rogue base class) can not become disciple (templar base class)
in order to become disciple you must first become an acolyte, it's not gonna be easy, but i expect 45 aint to bad compared to 66 for cleric 0.0

Squire -> (lvl 66) Knight -->
Apprentice -> (lvl 66) Mage -->
Neophyte -> (lvl 66) Rogue -->
|
---> (lvl 45) Archer -->
Acolyte -> (lvl 66) Cleric -->
|
---> (lvl 45) Diciple -->
Once you switch to either archer or diciple, there's no going back. It's considered to be a new class and not a continue of the previous. So you will lose ALL skills/spells that you gained as a neophyte/acolyte.

I see, thank you for this info.
Are disiples a good pvp class? Do you guys know what the strongest melee pvp class is / strongest in general?

If you're looking to call one class best, it's going to take you a loooooong time to figure it all out.
Generally though, disciples are a very well rounded class. They have their own buffs, good attacks, and heals (not to be compared to an acolytes/clerics healing ability)

I have a few questions regarding disciples:
1. Is Force Blast a Ranged attack or Hand-to-hand?
2. Minor Heal recalled to say it can be used by Disciples. Can they really?
3. Is there a "mass attack" spell later that can be used by disciples?
4. Is there a skill requirement to change to a disciple? Can i reset my stats points if i need to? (Ex. 26int...etc.)
5. Do u have to promote at lv45 or can u wait until 45+?
Can someone please answer these questions? Thanks-you so much

1. It's a melee attack (hand to hand)
2. It was a typo on the skill description; it cannot be used by disciples, nor now nor later. This was confirmed by a GM.
3. As far as I know, Chain Block (lvl 66 skill I think) has an area of effect (AoE), though I don’t know how effective it is. You will get more powerful AoEs once you class change to the next tier (supposedly called a Templar)
4. The only requirement to class change is to have the whole firewood (the last one you will use) set of equips, with no +1. Also, there are no stats prerequisites, so just lvl as a normal aco (mostly int till lvl 30~35, then you could throw in some men or even wis [not much] if needed, though int is still the main stat.) Once you class change to disciple, you will automatically get their basic stats (along with the whole equip and skills for lvl 45) and every other point will be there to be used on whatever you want (a lot of points btw xd), but you wont get any other reset, so focusing mostly on pow for a good damage output and maybe some points on something else (ironically, int would be the only completely useless stat) is the best way to go.
5. 45 is the minimum lvl you can change at, but you can indeed wait till later to class change. It’s possible though, that once you reach lvl 66 you can only go the cleric path, though I don’t see why any aco who wants to go disciple would wait that long xd

Possibly to try out the aco skills if still indecisive?

yes. I seriously want to try to revive someone first before i become a disciple. I also have a few more abilites i want to try first. (like lv2 bless/fist up and spirit)

You will be disappointed with lv2 bless/fist up. 2 (two!!) points increase. It's a joke!

Then again, most lvl 2 skills are just a joke. Nothing new under the sun. Once you hit mastery lvls with those higher than lvl 5 they may become something (and by that lvl, we will probably have both lots of mp and better pots.)
