New to Scroll Production

I'm new to the Scroll Production thing and im trying to make power scrolls and shield scrolls, i already bought the skills scrolls to make them but cannot find enough summoned beast leather to make, where can i get more summoned beast leather in large quantities?

At least you know now that SBLs are rare, so if you want to get your hands on it you have to spend some extra time and/or extra money in getting them.

I suggest you 2 ways:

1. Create a new chara and farm your SBL at slimes, speedy slimes and slow slimes (they drop a lot of em). With this, you also obtain a lot of Torn Leather. And after your farming chara has risen to a higher level, continue with Hungry Wolves for Beast Dogteeth and Beast Leather (if you are interested in Vitality, Nature's Agility and other scrolls as such).

2. Set up a shop n Roumen (perhaps at the entrance where the slimes get killed) and buy your SBL from other players. Still you can pay 25 to 30c for each SBL that way. I only recommend it if you get enough profit from your scrolls.

The third way is definitely the best, but only if you already have a lot of money to spend into decomposition ... that's why I didn't really suggest it here. :p (If you have more experience in the game, you can still try decomp)

If you want to know what I would do, well, I already do the first one. ;)

Use 1 character with the skill scroll and decomposition
Kill All slimes-Slow-Speedy;etc
Kill Lizardman
Kill Ice Vivi
Kill Tomb Fox

If you get lucky get Summoned Beast Leather normal use decomposition skill
for get 14 Summoned Beast Leather LQ.

As i mentioned there is, but you still need 1000 skill points at decomposition (thats the patience part :D ) to start decomp SBL. ;)

another good rule of thumb..never sale anything that you may need later. Especially at your lower levels...

ex: I only sell stone components as I am currently producing potions and scrolls.

This will only benefit you later when you get the higher level scrolls and need the special items that sale for quick copper...you will regret those sales later.

nothing seems worthy enough to decompose.

Hey...i have a question about this...If I wanna get some SBL from a Slow Slime, level 6 mosnter, I would get the higher % at level 6? If i kill him at level 5, he would drop something? If i kill him at level 7...less % to get something? Till wich level he would drop things?

Whenever the monster's name is colored grey, I don't believe you get anymore items. If it is yellow, then you have a higher%, green a slightly lower%, ect ect. I don't go by levels [:x] so I'm sorry I can't be anymore specific.

To train Decomp, the best way is copper. Buy normal copper ore in Echo Cave or Roumen for anywhere from 20-50c each. Then use decomposition on it for 2 low quality copper ore. Sell those for 30c or more each. So you make a profit, and copper takes no skill to decomp.
