To The GM's: Botting problem

There has been a HUGE increase of level bots occuring in MANY low level areas.
And honestly these things just run around aimlessly til they get hit, then they strike back.
Or they flat out KS, and its getting way out of hand.
Botting areas with most troubles: FoM, SoG, Burning Hill.
Infact im in BH right now with 4 clerics, that look EXACTLY the same, just flat out botting the place out.

Known Botters:
Sadisitia
Tuilela
Nonenty
Okeeh
Oathy
Dirtnasty
omnile
7etrer
jojack
Burncore


There following the exact same pattern and actually running on top of each other. I want something to be done about this; its getting throughly annoying.
Ill keep posting here when i find player names of other botters.

Please PM the GM's with screenshot evidence please.

Only listing their names won't help....

I can say:

"Hey, I found a botter, his name is Gaaraxxx, he's in sea of greed now".

You wouldn't be banned, since I have no proof what so ever.

Thanks for reporting those maps though, I'll be looking for bots there. and reporting them ^_^

Screenshot asking for communication, as well as their implied botting action. Say if they attack no matter what you say, on a mob you're fighting, that's a typical bot trait. Trying to talk to them and them not replying is also a common bot trait.

Or not curing when they are poisoned (this only counts for clerics). Not trying to run away when attacked by a lot of monsters.

These are some of the "bot patterns" you should make a screenshot of.

I know of these bot patterns, but to be honest, if i were a GM i wouldnt think much of a screen shot (minus the no talking trait.)
Them attacking your mobs or taking alot of mobs on, is a trait ANYONE could have :(.

Clearly a name list is not enough. If you want a list of bots, just ask js_clickin_it for his guild(_Seduction_) list, a lot of bots there. If you want a place that you can see a bot for sure, please go to the golden bat room in cp1. Coordinate is g3,4, there will be about 3-4 bots there, one of them has _Seduction_ as guild name.

Ya i realize that names isnt doing me any good, but atleast it give the GM's an oppurtunity to look into things themselves; though they are rarely online.
I figured that a screenshot wouldnt be convincing enough for any high ranking staff.

Usually they won't start farming or botting till they have orders.

I dont think they farming, its just a bot that runs 24/7, to the point where they dont even get drops off what they kill; thats how long these bots are running.
All the aforementioned bots were in front of sand hill portal in burning hill.
They all looked exactly the same.
I myself believe that these were power levels purchased by some1.

Let's please try to cut down on the cursing Acronyms and keep things peaceful. I'm glad you want to state your opinion here, and don't get me wrong, I greatly disagree with botting/bought power levelling services, but for your own sake please do not break the rules of the forums.

As for the botting idea, most of the typical 'botters' are Clerics by nature, simply due to their self efficiency. Power levelling, as I've been informed revolves around a group of bot levelled clerics belonging to the party and letting said person leech. Whether that claim is true or not, is not yet confirmed by me.

Capture them on screenies and report, report, report. It may not be an immediate solution, but should be resolved eventually.

Other than that, perhaps find somewhere else on the map to hunt?

Why not send some incriminating screenshots like everyone has suggested, or stop complaining and give the GM's time to look into it and deal with it accordingly?

For those who thinks bots are for powerlevel, you are wrong! Powerlevel is done by hand, because if a bot become a real player, it can hardly survive since no guild will accept it. (Look at White_Mage, Chao_X, etc...) Bots are usually created by gold spammer's boss. Ever wonder how people can sell gold even the hardcore player doesn't have that many golds? The answer is the bots!!!

don't report bots here. send private message to dakon on forum. get your evidence. take screen shots of them. try to show bot behavior. show chat box of you trying to talk to them and them not responding. give location. gm's can't do anything without evidence or observing themselves. so private gm with evidence. posting on boards names is against tos. flaming.
