My guild mates and I were discussing some things that would be handy for the guild as a whole, and one suggested that a guild storage section with the storage keepers be created.

I thought this was a really good idea. Guild members could donate items as well as money to it and whoever needed/wanted the items/money could take from it. I'd actually like to see something like this done in the next upgrade.

I happen to know and trust my guild members, so that wouldn't be a problem. But for less trustworthy guilds, I guess some sort of record keeping could be used of who took what. Or only allow admins or select people access.

It works! Unity (on Apoline) does it and I hear it works really well for them. But only the Master has access to it, I think. They have a thread in the Apoline Guild Hall Forum (pretty recent) if you want to find it.

Or here, I did it for you: Unity (http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28643Unity)

ROFL actually all of the guilds I have been part of have done that since before the existence of Apoline ;). It is quite simple, you have to make a guild account. In the cases of the guilds I am in, I set up the characters so that others could not use variations of our guild name on a character and misbehave or bring shame on our guild's name. In our case the guild master and at least 2 admins have access to the guild storage information and we keep a database of what is in the storage at all times where our members can view it on our forum.
