Is the Wisdom and Mentality for Blazing? o_O

'Cause I thought we squires only needed pow+agi+sta.

Good thread bro... my buddy is an acolyte... hence... no need for blazing... it is a basic 2 Pow 1 Agi build... Enjoy!

thanks josh 4 input. Obviously ur damge is going to be higher than me if we same lv. 2pwr, 1 agi build seem to be quite a good damge dealer build. If only some1 can submit a lv 40++ full pwr build soon:) Any other build is welcome, i once met a defensive build fighter...forgot his stats. And blazing is quite useful regardless of whether u have aco or not. It is practically useless during soloing but can certainly safe lifes of acos and mage in party sometimes. No idea about blazing lv 2 though. And only 6 wis is needed 4 blazing, men primary increases critical and hit rate. Some say it increase defense but my defense is stuck at 2 even with 5 men.

Considering squires mostly spam skills, there's not much point for agi (the dodge would suck compared to that from a neo anyway), whereas men actually serves quite a lot of purposes as far as skills go. As for the wis, I suppose it’s pretty much obvious that it’s used for blazing, as the same amount of sta would give you less HP and no MP at all, which would always a plus from that wis… besides, blazing is useful while in a party.

As for the build at hand (shanky), I would suggest that you keep pumping only men till you hit 10 or 12, as on that amount it will actually become quite useful and just so you know, while it doesn’t show on the stats, men helps decrease the delay between skills, meaning you will hit faster with them (the attack speed is only related to normal attacks, no skills). Now, of course, even more men wouldn’t hurt, but I would wait for that till later lvls and keep with whatever you're aiming for, be it more pow for an even better damage from your fast skills or whatever else.

For the other build (josh), I would suggest to stop it with the agi (on 16 you get the improvement to attack speed) and increase pow a little bit more for a better overall attack, then once you hit around 40 total (so around 37+3 pow from the brooches) you should start pumping men till around 10 of it for better skill casting and critical rate (both for skills and normal attacks) and since this build is indeed not full pow oriented, you should always attack with one skill, one normal hit, one skill, one normal hit, and so fort (otherwise, those 17 agi have been a complete waste). With all of this, in the long run you will probably be killing faster than pure pow builds, using less pots and even surviving better thanks to that decent enough dodge from both agi and men.

I've to say, comparing the agi, pow and attack from both builds, it seems that agi is indeed quite usefull o.o (it seems to give almost as much attack as pow, but with other beneficts :O!)

indeed agi is helpful...i'll add agi until at least when atk speed decrease to 1.2. I lved today so i'm posting my new stats. As u can see, i added 1 pwr,1 agi and 1 men. I'm lazy to type, compare both urself. My build is i'll put extra point at every 5 and 10 level to agi and men.( i added stamina early on before i knew how important men actually is).

Another helpful tips 4 squire that i found out or maybe some1 already posted it but i'll just state it again. If ur agi is an even number, atack will only increase per 2 pwr added. Ur attack will not increase sometimes even if u add 1 stats in pwr. So try to keep agi at odd number if possible. Hope this is helpful.

Again...don't be shy to post ur stats, this may help not ony u, but hopefully any1 who reads this forum.

Well here is mine if i could rebuild it i would go more in pow at the beginning.

But the plan is agi to 17
then invest in pow/men/sta

About wisdom im not sure for the higher lvls of blazing but i prob gonna do it.

Was usefull for me to have more mp all the time.

??

I have level 3 Blazing and it works fine.
and i have 1WIS.

Level 2 and level 1 also worked well before.

WHY YOU NEED WIS for Blazing?

I only use Blazing when im in party,
Only for me is Useless, i have more than enough HP
and i train only where i get hit 2 or less

Back in the day you were required to have wis in order to learn blazing. That has since been fixed so you no longer need wis(tho people either had to start over or buy a stat reset to remove that wis).

Anywyas this thread's a necro with old outdated information.
