I'm sure that many are already aware of this. But there have been numerous scams involving the Production Skill for the Tier 2 Vitality Scrolls.

Basically, the scam operates like this:

Scrolls that give the ability to make Vitality [2] buff scrolls are very rare, and only rumors exist as to where you might find them. When they are found, they sell for a very high price.

However, there happens to be an active skill that can be used by Fighters called: Vitality. This skill can be purchased at an NPC and costs about 8 silver.

Some have purchased the fighter skill, then shopped the skill claiming it was the Production scroll for Vitality Buff scrolls.

I recently got scammed on this. I spent 100s on a fighter skill, when I intended to buy the Vitality Scroll Production skill for my guild. Well, I won't offer any excuses, I made a mistake. But this type of scam should be punishable by banning the user's account.

Well, it was 6am in the morning, and I should have known better, but, I'm actually pretty rich, so 100s isn't that much to me.

I just think it is so sad that people fel the need to scam like this. I mean, this just a game, it is nothing to sacrifice your dignity over.

In any event, the seller who scammed me was named _Zion_ , on Bijou server. I just wanted to let people who might be unaware of this ongoing scam know about it.

Final wording from Dakkon? Not a scam... Sad but true.

My suggestion to you? Do something like this for your server (if it does not already exist)

Have fun :)

Well, it's possibly considered a scam, possibly not. If they claim that it IS the production scroll then it is scamming, because they are advertising something as something else, however if they did not advertise it saying it was the production scroll, then it's not technically a scam.

You are right Raiz (that was the huge debate on that thread). That's also why I think creating a thread for these is a good solution. Scammer or not, that thread would serve as a warning to all players: "What you see is a BAD deal. Be aware of it."
