Oh my god, Teva is suffering a Bots Attack, everywhere I go have thoses party of clerics with similar names walking close to each others are there, I talk to they to confirm the bots and they don't respond.

Moonlight tomb (right after the elderin gate O.O)

I always shout, asking the people what to do with these bots. Never had an answer. Please someone do something about it, or tell me what should I do when I found it again.

Bots are a problem, definately.

The right thing to do is to get screenshots and post them for a GM to verify. Let them know that you tried to contact the people, watched them for awhile and just gather all the info you can, names, etc. They should follow up and ban them hopefully.

The wrong thing to do, as I have seen before (even though I laugh about it) is to train the bots with a lot of mobs or a boss type of mob and if done right the bots will die off. Of course, they will eventually come back and be setup again so the problem persists.

I got to tell you, I though about train samo mobs into the boters once! lol
But I though better and if I died trying to do that it will really drive me mad!

You send your screen shots to a GM directly via PM. It is frowned upon to publicly announce something like this on the forums. If you didn't know what to do, that isn't a problem; but if you have repeatedly announced this publicly on these forums it would probably annoy several people

Today i report 3 characters lvl50 or higher using bot and another 2 lvl 60, this is a big problem, all people can report but never report and game is bad in this case, people can help to clean the game, only send PM to any GM/CSR/Admin to report with character names and screenshots and that people get a good ban.

lol like everyone said, get SCREENSHOTS and write down the names. usually the gms won't bother unless there are screenshots somewhere out there. if the bots are in a guild, i usually post the screenshots in the thread tho, so the guild has a chance to boot them out and save themselves--it doesn't really tarnish guild reputation from what i've seen. then send the link to the thread to a gm. i've been sending my reports to murdock here on the forums, and have gotten a response to my pms--but please remember to pm only once. they have warned that they will not pay attention to anyone who sends multiple pms on the same thing. x_X

On Sea of Greed i see 10 bots attacking any monster at same time, that is incredible, i cant take pictures, my OS is Windows Vista and i cant take pictures (i no have idea about what happend) but sever is full of bots all days.

I would suggest what most maybe already have.

Take pictures as you find them with the Print Screen key (its near your F12 key at the top). The photos will be stored in a Fiesta folder in your MyDocuments area.

Once you have pictures, send them in a PM (Private Message) to GM_Dakkon along with detailed information like their names, server they're on, the fact that they're bots, and so on.

While GMs can't get to it right away because of their sheer workload, they DO investigate and look into each report as they're able.

I hate bots as much as you do and do my best to combat them with the above as I come across them. It may seem like nothing is being done but I know for a fact there is, it just is a long hard road of battle with this plague of cheaters. :P

Yea, you cant use Macro or scrolling system to play, you can stay online but you cant use that, the rules are basic and understandable and that character have a good ban because have more of 1 character and more of 1 account.

The other day I was getting scroll materials on my cleric in Sea of Greed when about 15 cleric-botters swarmed the area, broke up into teams and pwned everything in site. o.O
I got several screenshots, but I'm afraid that I couldn't get many of the names - they were all following each other so it was hard. :/

If you want to take a screenshot, then just hit "PrtSc / Sys Req" button... that does many things:
1) The first time it happens, it make a folder in "My Documents" called "Fiesta"
2) Takes a SS of only the game
3) Saves a copy in said folder

You'll have them forever ^^ And ever since I've noticed that happens... I'm now up to 107 ScreenShots =D

I reported some players including this Xinthis (they are problaby all the same guy) and GM answer me saying he will take care off them.

Now I know how to do it, I stop werever I'm doing to report bots when I find them.

Oh yea..a lotta bots nowdays..during my time..at lvl 20+ I used to grind at Burning Hills and seems fine..but when I came back there using my alt lvl 20, I saw few grouping bots...most of them are clerics(sorry, but seems cleric are always target of botting...>_<")

The other day..when I was grinding at Moonlight Tomb(also using my alt)...came this a high lvl cleric name like CrankThatAquaman...?(sorry if i mispelled...@_@)and ask me "Are u auto?"

I was so shoked that he thought me as a BOT!!Duh...Luckily things get fixed when I explained to him that I'm no bot..a pure human playing Fiesta...T_T

Again he said that my name was in the list of bots..well...I'm not sure where he got/saw the list cause i've been searching in the whole forums/threads/posts and yet obtained none...>_<"

Ah...yet things still went fine when I told about I'm not a bot and such....:(

yah. I saw two cleric bots in MT and two cleric bots in BH so far. I still think it's funny how bots are usually clerics. I ksed them and took their loot (not stealing since the bots don't take them ;)), but i didn't report cuz.... i didn't take screenshots and were too busy aoe-ing. >.<

p.s. one time in apoline, there was/is a train of bots.. they were ALL noob clerics. lol. it cracked me up.

Forest of Mist is always full of clerics bots mob, 4-5 one on each other! XTrap changed nothing on this type of boting!
