yes but of the skill added that effect it would be used a lot more by mage's. right

An aco is suppose to be healing people. What you are asking for is a way to turn a healing aco into a walking mana battery for a mage, which would cause a balance issue, in my opinion.

am i the only one here who truly worries about this person's spelling ability? :P lol, but i agree with Shadar. Acolyte's are more important than just "mana batteries", putting them to a use like this would be almost offensive. And it really WOULD cause a balance issue.

I think everyone else left the thread after the first sentence.

ok i know my spelling is bad. its a 3rd gread lv. im deslecek and have short memery lost. so of you have to pick on spelling instad of paying attachen!!! and im not just talking about makeing them batterys. im talking about when mages are in partys thats when they use magic shield. and the mp gose like crazy. and still theres a broblem with the ballense. every one needs a aco. so theres a big demand for it any ways. im just saying it would be 10x better for us mages. the aco's would lv fast the mages would lv fast and when where in partys mages wouldnt be looked over like we are!!!

The point of Aco's are to heal, period. The point of partying is to combine talents. What your talking about is making the Aco's useful in tandem with mage for the sole purpose of funneling mp into them. If the Aco had other party members who needed healing he would have wasted all his mp boosting the mages damage. Mages are supposed to be self contained disaster areas. They do the damage, but are paper thin, so can't stay in the combat zone without help. Which brings me to the last thing I want to point out, mages only have the shield so they can stay alive at later levels when things are swarming everyone and the Aco is busy healing someone else. It is just a method of getting out of a tight spot and not meant to be anything else. So you still need that Aco to heal you, because when you get up into high levels and are AoEing everything, then your going to want that Aco saving up his mp to save your bacon. Not to mention not needing to worry about him wasting it all to help increase damage while you sit there facing 20 or so monsters clawing your face off.

and not only that, is it fare thay squyers get tones of hp then hog all the aco to them selfs, im just asking why do brake them up some! so you can see mages with aco with them not all by them selfs.

A mage doesn't need an aco except for an emergency heal. You are not asking for balance, you are asking for a class to change its entire concept and purpose to benefit you.
No. A plain and simple, no.

are ya'll all blind im not asking for a class change what time saying is that magic shield could be more help full then what it is. only if i could turn hp into mp when acos heal or even hp pots. the down side would be that it take one of the 7 hit off. so if you would use 7 hp pots the 140 mp if an aco uses there heal too truns it in to mp.

You aren't understanding either sinesh. What you are asking for IS going to change the class. An aco heals, healing involves healing the hp. What you are asking for, is a way for the aco to transfer his mana to you. In a nutshell, that is what would happen. THAT, would change what the aco class is about.
Magic shield uses 12 mana. Even if it took a 'hit' per heal used on us, we'd still be banking a crap load of mana per what we used.
Sorry if you don't seem to understand sinesh, we know you aren't flat out asking for a class change, and may not realize it. But what you are asking for, changes the core responsibilities of an aco. And something like that, changes the class.

the responsablitys of the aco will be the same! im just asing if my mp can be used for hp then my hp sould be used for my mp. aslong as magic shield is on. the only thing would change is magic shield. to word that hp and mp would become one you can put a limet on the amout of hp used for mp. just like a limet for mp used for hp! just make the limet like hp can only drop to 100-150 hp then magic shield cuts off!

i think appriciant lvl 35 (with 350mp) that magic shield is pretty usefull, for example we can go explore the adv lab to scout cuz with magic shield we wont take damage, with magic shield we are perfectly able to defend ourselfs, it really is a good skill so we houldnt want to chance it
