my weight bar is 979/1170
I just changed class to neo, lvl 16
I just got the beginner neo equips from the job change guy, but how come all of a sudden my weight became so high that I am barely able to move? I had to drop some of my stuff to move instead of selling them...

Erm, are you doing the love letter for Lotrin quest? [or whatever it's called...]

The letter weighs 6500, so obviously anyone who does it will be weighed down.

You might just have too many things. Period. Anything that approaches or is over your weigh limit will make you move extremely slow.

It's a shame you had to drop some things, but perhaps you should've NPC'ed them beforehand or just done the long, slow walk to the nearest NPC to sell stuff.

when you change your job class you get all the new armor, plus you have your old armor, any hp, mp pots and milks you have left, any items you didnt put in storage, plus you get 50 hp and mp pots for the change. All of that adds up and that is why you are overweight when you change classes. Happens to all of us.

and also your max weight goes down, you previously had all your stats in pow, giving you extra carry capacity, then suddenly all your stats go into AGI, added with the new equip puts you way over the limt.

it doesn't mattre, you don't get any money for selling the novice stuff you start with.

when i first started in CB i was in a similar situation, so i decided to moonwalk to the nearest NPC to get rid of my stuff, then everyone came to me telling me i was going in the wrong direction, i replied that i wasn't doing the letter quest.
