Fire Slinger my buddy is mixed hes same lv,l as me wen i saw him using magic lvl 2 he kept missing on monsters in elf he quit now cus of that i told my buddy im pure int thats y he taught he messed up his character

You dunt get it man we tested it out u get higher chance of frezing high lvl monsters with higher int than having mix

ok look im lv 36 and i have like 18+3 to int and i dont miss, my stats look like this

pow 4
int 18+3
alg 1
men 8
sta 8
wis 14

and i have now problem hitting any thing!!!!
i may only do like 150-180 but my mp is at 239 and my hp is 321

Its not the accuracy im talking about its the durability and duration of the magic ice spell im concerned with. Ive seen lots of my buddies took ur path they tried wat i did fighting high lvl monsters but all dey did was run cus they magic ice lvl 2 wont work very well like mine. Thats all i can say.

Thats not really the point...

if you are going to make a thread about Ice magic, then do so, make a thread about the effectiveness of Ice Magic... call it that, in fact...

DO NOT however make a thread called "Tips for new apprentices" telling them not to go anything but Pure INT, and saying that anything else will lessen their effectiveness... I'm an INT/MEN mage, and I work just fine, and my Magic Ice works just fine, I've never had a problem with it....

I'm sure you are wanting to just pass along a piece of information you feel to be correct... but in doing so, make sure you cover all angles... telling new app's to go PURE INT is very counterproductive to helping new apprentices, therefore nullifying the very name of this thread... talk to other mages, even ones that are higher level than you... you know where I always am and that I'm good for a chat... so why not bounce this idea off a few mages before passing it for the gospel and making a thread about it?

if you ever look for me im like two to three maps in one the north side of candy volt so i thank so and to seat one thing strat i train alown 70% of the time and when i do party we go even deeper and i still have no problem

wot is MEN?..and wot does it do?...i know WIS increases MP and INT increases Magic...but im not sure bout MEN... can anyone tell me?

dude ur lvl 36 u are full of it lol unless u kill one monster for few misn then rest for like 10 mins ... im talking about serious monster grinding

please tell me how longg it took u to be that level i just cme from Fiesta to SoS in 3 days and look at my charts.I got moree experience than you man Fiesta has gaved me advantage on making charts in SOS Fiesta is waaaaayyy harder than SOS trust me and i nkow the basics of all characters in both games.

Alright, thats it, this thread has come to flaming already, please STOP. To the starter of the thread, i know you were trying to help, but at least have some concideration for others. Everyone likes their own builds and like it the way they prefer it, its unfair to use your friends mistake as an opurtunity to make EVERYONE follow the way you want YOUR character built. Please refrain from flaming and a forum is a place where people help each other or discuss on matters. So calm down and please don't repeat the same thing again by disagreeing with others so directly, especially when Fireslinger has a point that you SHOULD discuss with other Mages and not just 'your friend' .. just because he made the mistake means, other mages did. My natural int is 16, I get +3 from rings, and the rest from my weapon.

I kill red monsters just fine soloing with pure MEN.

yeah fireslinger is right! u have an option of ur own choice! We learn as we commit mistakes. So dont discriminate others with a INT/MEN or INT/WIS. Well even u say you're just giving an advice, other app's with this build may found themselves degrading their morale. No offense but u should think before u talk ^_^
