A Toast to Harlequin

As the current leader and one of the founders of Harlequin, Krayon will be leading us in OB most likely, I'd like to dedicate this thread to one of the first guild Fiesta had registered. We, Harlequin, may come off edgy to some or mean to others, but I asure everyone that we stand and fight for the greater good in Fiesta. Heh, this may sound a bit cheesy, but what I mean is that we do not encourage flamewars and we do not what so ever associate with botters and/or hackers and never will. We want to be the guild that eveyone one admires and looks up too. I want to be in the guild that has players working their hearts out to be in. I want to be in the guild that will only hold the best of the best and the friendliest of friendliest players. I believe that I'm in that guild now.


More importantly, I'd like to tip my hat to those who helped create Harlequin. They know who they are and I deeply appreciate the hard earned silver that these few people contributed. I can still remember sitting in Roumen debating whether we had enough money between us, and then running over to the Guild Officer. Walking around town with a guild over my head made me proud. It made me feel like we'd accomplished something great. Not to mention the elating feeling of when people were like, "Whoa! You're in a guild?!?! Sweet!" Thank you guys for that.


I'd also like to extend an arm out to Teva, one of the other greater guilds that Fiesta possesses. I mean come on, without them, we would of never had so much fun. Although things got hostile between certain people, everyone must admit that it was a hell lot of excitement. Whether we hate each other or fight for each other, I know that we'll be some of the better guilds that grow into Fiesta. I send a thank you to Teva and its members for being here.


Lastly, I'd like to say, "Hello!!!", to all of the CB2 invitees. Without you guys, Fiesta wouldn't be the same. Grow strong and make changes everyone. Harlequin will see you in CB2, CB3, OB, and finally the official release.

Okay well you don't have the best of the best, sure you have a lot of hardcore CB levelers but best doesn't necessarily mean "Who decided to burn themselves out grinding even though they're going to get wiped anyway". I think all of the guilds have some of the best of the best. Zero Brethren has valheart and 4swordlink, Requiem, we have Lune and myself [my organizational skills are amazing, but you can't really see them outside of Requiem :P], and Harlequin has FireRiot and you, which both seem more mature, I know some other guilds have some really awesome members as well. Friendliest of the friendliest? Well I can't really say that about you guys, but a goal is something to strive for.


And who says there will be a CB3? They are testing the cash shop, which is something to reserve until you're nearly live. I'm sure OB is coming up after this, especially with a "grand" event August 3rd.

You say accomplished something like leveling in CB mattered. You know what mattered? Bug reporting. I reported over 20 spelling and grammar errors with highlights and suggestions... I reported 4 quest errors which were quite popular, I reported a minimap error, a physical error, and a serious world-flaw error. What did you do? Oh yeah grind. maybe you found some quest errors but did you even report them?

lol any quest errors we found we compiled a list on msn an fireriot posted them =) sorry to disappoint you. An some of them we reported directly to the Gms while they were ingame talking to us. AN I guarantee our list an reports come up to more then 20 so again...fail..we reported the game crashing quest error..lawl

So like I said, quest errors, you didn't really hunt for bugs, you just reported what hindered you from leveling more.

I'm mostly mature, just been rubbed the wrong way by people calling higher level's idiots because there will be a wipe. Those same people would complain if the game went official without all the quests working. Some of quest bugs aren't just non translated quests, some are incompletable, some can't even be accepted and others crash the game.


I know there will be a wipe and sure alot of work went into this char but i've done it once and i can do it again, at least i can have some satisfaction in knowing that i contributed towards quests being fixed.


If i came off as confrontational in the teva thread my apologies but every1 who knows me from in game knows i'm one of the easiest going people around. If people treat me decently i treat them the same way. Like i stated in the paragraph above, tired of people insulting lvl 40+'s because there'll be a wipe.


As for OB i know i won't be a high level because education comes before games and i'll be completing my final year of study towards a BS in computing so i probably won't be active at all.

I'm not saying taht leveling high makes you an idiot, I'm saying that there's no need to go on a powertrip and say you are better than everyone who didn't sit around and grind that high. Some of us were busy writing lower level guides, crafting guides, enhancement guides, monster location maps, quest guides, money-making guides, build suggestions, bug reports, etc. etc. All I'm trying to prove is that being a higher level doesn't mean you're superior and gonig to be "the best" or anything like that. And it certainly doesn't mean you'll be the fastest levelers in OB. It's possible, but not absolute.

As for the guides part, if you check fiestfan, you'll notice that myself, Tequila and Fireriot have all created guides there in the classes sections.* I will also being adding a fighter skills guide with my own personal experiences of those skills once i have access to the proper skills names and skill stats when cb2 starts.

The point I have with that is writin those guides without lvling....you cant possibly know anything i lvled up so i could write my guide to best of my ability an i reported more then quest errors so still you're wrong quit about us...an yes hrmm my cleric guide seems to the best an as of right now most complete cleric guide..because i spent time grinding up..an we were one of the better guilds in CB1 so we can claim it....lawl an i dont think we are gods...i just dont see why i should have to respect any of the other guilds who get on the server.

We aim to be the best and the friendliest, whether we ever achieve the goal or not, I am not certain. But we can try can't we?


And Tequila, you don't see why you should have to respect anyone else on the server? What nonsense is this? You have to respect EVERYONE on the server for who they are. I respect every other guild being created and if I ever have any spare cash I'd be GLAD to donate toward a guild being established. Without these other guilds, where would the competition be?


I'm sorry Tequila, you know I have no problems with you personally, but I think it'd be best if you just ignore what other people say. Instead of talking back and starting flamewars, prove yourself. Report them bugs. Do what you have to do to be great. Just don't feel that you're better then anyone else who plays Fiesta, because no one is.

I admire all guilds in Fieta esp. HQ during CB..but please don't brag anything..its still CB and Uta and the Requiem and the other guilds hasn't shown their real skills yet...OB is the time where the competition gets serious...because as a beta tester, we need to report bugs and that takes time off our levelling time...

***im a member of the black shadows guild, and id like to say its good to see mature players around. i got accepted into cb2, so it will be my first time playing fiesta, but it already looks like im going to like it. all the guilds look friendly and active, unlike in world of warcraft, and the players seems mature, unlike in maple story.
