It has been posted ingame that mushroom killing while in the middle of a guild war is in bad taste and that action would be taken on a guild that participates in such behavior. In a recent guild war i was a victim of said behavior, being killed while I was vending. (so was another member by the same individual but i do not have the screenshot to back up that claim only my own)
What bothered me the most about this situation was that it was essentially a war for fun, because our guild has no level 60+ active members other than myself and the guild we warred with were for the most part well above 60.
So they went into this knowing the chances of success were pretty much nill.
So why participate in such behavior? Especially when the odds were clearly in their favor. >.<
I am attaching a picture to show proof of what it is I am talking about because after all the proof is in the pudding. Understand that I do not want the guild or the guild member in the screen shot to be looked at negatively. After presenting it to one of the guild admins he apologized to me on her behalf.
My questions are, shouldn't the more established/powerful guilds be setting the example for others to follow rather than participating in these actions?
Does your guild apply the guidelines of not shroom killing?
Does anyone else still see this behavior going on even though it has been addressed in game and we were all told about the repercussions?
