If you where to read the announcements you would know they are doing server maintenance.

sigh. why was there no warning to when they were gonna get the server down for maintenance? there should at least be a 5 minute warning like the time they brought server down for a patch.

WARNNING? dam i thought the notice saying 1/7/08 9 am PSTor PDT (whichever) was the warnning which when i read it i calculated to my own time zone, which happens to be GMT anyway so was easy. just had to remember when it was my time. for future reference PDT is 8 hrs behind GMT not 7 hrs which has been in some of the maintenance notices

PDT=8 hours behind GMT
PST=7 hours behind GMT (PST=PDT but then summer time)

i guess they referenced to summer time.
Anyway i already love the update: they finally added xtrap. Its not the best , but it should keep out the simple bots. FINALLY

You can easily tell what PDT is by just scrolling down to the very bottom of any page on Outspark.
It tells you the exact time there.
There was also a post on the Forums about a week in advance about today.
I'm actually glad the servers are down, I've been waiting for the drops to be fixed. I'm looking forward to playing when they come back online ^^

a notice is not a warning. check your spelling too.

Maintenance time = time for million threads about why people can't log in

XD indeed.
Though there aren't as many as I thought there would be today.

Well, with the notice you shouldn't need a warning. "Hm.. its almost 9PM PDT.. I should log off soon so I don't get roll back or disconnected in the middle of a fight." Think ahead of time.

Like I said on another thread, I think its bad customer service to shut down the servers w/o any warning. (Board announcements don't count)

Maybe people start to learn to read notices
