Hi My SOS name is Kn1ght I play barley started this game and at lvl 27 right now.Im 18 i live in california and i go to college also i have a job and a Girlfriend (So if you do not see me on im living life =D). I also play RS Runescape some hate it some like it but meh it is ok.I lead a clan in that game so i know lots about leadership and how to handle situations.

Im here to introduce a Guild or rather a clan that i willl be creating once we are able to. I hope to be a Knight or atleast 50+ level when it comes out. I want to make people know about AAO (Against All Odds) so we can have fun leveling for when we are able to make the guild. I know a lot about Leadership if you wish to join just PM me in game- Kn1ight

*Be nice to other guild members.
*Must be active on weekends.
*Must be atleast lvl 30+ since thats where i am at at the moment. Will raise when its time to come.*If you join maybe interest another friend in joining.
*Help other members if they need it.

Why did i post in Event Forum because we willl be traning together and that is an event, but we will be more then a traning team we will become a guild.

*Note* I hope to see no flames if you do not wish to join that is your decision. If you do like to join please pm me. And maybe you just wanna party so just come along and party and level up even if you do not wish to join. More people makes the game more FUN.

I don't mean to put you down, but who do you expect to sign up to your guild when you've just started, and have barely played the game?

How is "i have a job and a hot gf" relevent to anything?

Maybe the 12 yearolds who play runescape will join your guild on that, but this is a different story. I like the guild name though, but maybe you should get stronger and make a name for yourself or something before you create a guild (or guild to be).

Anyways~! I think, you should edit your post and elaborate more in detail by what you meant, with your sentence and introduction, because most people, especially those wil 'limited vocabulary' may get the wrong idea. Or if you get those whom are impatient, then err.. it'll be a little rough for you.

But i get what you mean. No biggie. Hope to see your guild when its up!! Don't flame them back by calling them stupid, silly, idiot, bla bla, just edit your post, the reply by saying something a little more civilized like: " I've edited my post to explain in more detail... etc etc " so nobody can fire you back with your up-coming reply.

legendaryJ, it has come to my attention that you could be -slightly- more clear. Why are you calling me an idiot? Really, you just said you have a job and a hot gf. Are you trying to gloat or something? Who cares if your girlfriend is good looking or not. If you read my first post, I don't have a problem with you having a job and a "hot" gf. There was just a relevance / clarity issue. Fine, if you want to say it was to tell people in a very, very suttle way, that you "have a life", and therefore wont be able to play much, then fine. But after your last post, I don't think you are a suttle person at all. Anyway, it was mainly the calling her hot that had made me think it was tottally not relevant. By bad?

You've also said in your post "i don't expect anyone to join my guild i could careless".
Question: Why did you make this thread then? Wasnt it's point to recruit members?

Hmm? I didn't flame him in the first place. Although Roda's post was un-needed, it was not a flame either. Therefore he wouldn't be flaming us back, he would just be flaming us. I told him f.acts, and I didn't mean to do it in a nasty way. I didn't do it in a nasty way, he just interpretited it that way. I was actually trying to help him and his guild idea. After his reply, though, that I (could barely) read, I realise now that I shouldn't have said anything. Some people can't be helped.

P.S. I hope it's not rude of me to ask, but why would you defend him after THAT post? Seriously, I'm very curious to know.

Ferria only tried to calm a potentially flame-worthy thread, she didn't point fingers, she didn't point out any "particular" flame-poster, she only took an objective stand in a thread that seemed to need an objective opinion. She even further went on to tell legendary how this thread could be improved... I saw no "side-taking" at all

mark, ferria is just providing an objective view, and not putting anyone down or trying to point out a particular person... and is only trying to keep a situation that could get worse, from NOT getting worse...

You could remove the remark about Runscape and we'll pretend most of the none-member and none-improvement statments in the thread never happened. Since that thing was more of a jump than the rest of your first post, mark. Even with good intentions imbedded below. ^_^'

(Which summed up means the guildcaptain doesn't have all the time maintaining the guild once the function works, and has previous experience in other games in this matter about guilds.)

People can still join up (even if the function doesn't work now) even when the reputation for the creator is low. Things like rep takes time anyway to build up, so he/she must start somewhere ^_^'

I'm gonna make it clear, just as Fireslinger had implied, i was only responding toward all objectives and after reading all posts was i able to come up with my reply, in which i did NOT take sides, but tried to help cool-off-a-soon-to-be-flame thread. Also, if Fire and the others can understand what i was trying to say, how come you can't?

Anyway, i am not going to respond anymore for i do not want this thread to jump off topic, just to defend or counter each other's posts, therefore, i hope everyone's fairly calm now. I'm pretty sure legendaryJ would be smart enough to understand my intensions and deal with his thread. ^^

Sometimes trying to calm down a flame-worthy post only makes it worse...i suggest we make a FLAME-ONLY post section where everyone can chill with a few beers, hang from a ceiling fan, or just lay on the beach with some hippo-porpoises. Back to the original topic...basically i would join your guild if i wasn't already creating my own flame-tastic one. :D

The obvious glaring exception of not taking sides has become evident, however as I have said over three (3) times now, for some reason, you told kn1ght to not flame me back, when I didn't flame him in the first place. You've just darted around this fact and havent touched it, only saying that you did not take sides.
