Going Slow

I just got to lvl 16 and changed to an Acolyte but right after I did my character started moving slow. [I'm new to the game yeah, btw.] It would help alot if someone could tell me what to do to correct this. [Is it just game lag? I've seen others going this slow too..] Thank you!^^

It's not lag. I'm sure if you check in the top left hand corner there will be a green bar, and more than likely flashing. This is caused by being "overweight". I don't mean you've tucked into the fatty foods one too many times; I mean carrying too much gear. You can now either delete your old, Xenian gear/Sell it/Store it.
I'd suggest deleting it, since barely any money is obtained when selling, and even if you do use it, you have no purpose with it ;)

Try not carry so much, and you'll be absolutely fine! If ever stuck in a field when your WT bar is flashing, use a tracker, then a Return Scroll, and go sell/store some items until you feel comfortable that you won't go over weight again. Then, just use a Warp Scroll to get back!

The others may have been doing a quest, where you must carry an extremely heavy note from one person to another then back again. (Old fasioned paper my friend Ztar told me xP)

Well, their post is double posting and I think counts as spam. Not sure.

Just open your invetory, click the item you want to delete, look in the bottom left hand corner of the Invetory screen, and click the Garbage bin ^^

There's also an hotel (they presented it to you in the tutorial quests at the beginning) where you can store items (up to 100 of them and you share it with the other chars in your account, so you can trade items with them trough it).
