Hi everyone! I imagine most of you that peruse the forums know me. Anyway, one of my guild members was kind enough to post here that Unity is recruiting, and I decided to make a post of my own, since, you know, I'm the guild master.
Anyway, Unity has undergone some changes since the last post. The original rules are still the same, but there are a few more:
1. We're polite, helpful and friendly to everyone in game.
Within reason, naturally, if someone is being a royal pain in the ****, by all means, tell them off... politely. Save the cursing for guild chat, where all of us can get a good chuckle. Do not, however, continue to provoke, insult or harass the other player once you've had your say.
2. We share our goods, no questions asked.
If someone needs materials for production skills, and you have some to spare, hand 'em over. If someone needs a new skill and you can afford the silver, buy it for them or give them the money. You catch my drift.
3. We do not KS or train anyone in the game.
Naturally, when fleeing from a bunch of monsters, having them tail you is inevitable. Same goes for ranged characters, sometimes you start attacking a monster at the same time a melee character does. It happens. But when it's intentional, there will be no questions asked. You will be removed from the guild immediately and reported to a GM should you monster train another player.
4. We help the lower levels out.
We all started out at level one, and we all had someone help us out on the way, and all we ask is that, should you join our ranks, you extend the same courtesy to your guildmates.
5. Guild Storage
I myself have a level two character that has no other use than to store items other guild members donate. At the moment, nearly everything in it came from me, and while I have no problem giving the items out, all I ask of any guild member is to return the (permanent) items in the same condition. If you get a weapon or armour, you will not enhance it or sell it. If the item is not returned, again, removal from the guild, and you become an exception to rule one.
6. Age Limit
The majority of our members are over the age of eighteen or whatever legal age is required to be an adult. As such, we have a tendency to discuss, in guild chat, different topics that may not be suitable for minors. While we do our best to keep our chat as clean as possible, several of us are friends outside of Fiesta and we discuss our lives and events while playing the game together. So please be over the age of eighteen if you wish to join, or at least have an open-minded attitude towards our topics of discussion. We also ask this because, in the past, we've recruited some terribly immature players and we have no desire for more drama. We play for fun, not to get caught up in petty squabbles because someone's ego has been bruised.
6. Level Limit
Right now we have several lower level members, and at the moment are seeking players that are regular participants and over level 35, but the higher the better.
So there you have it. Basically, we share our stuff, offer up our equipment to other members or for storage until someone will need it, we're for the most part friendly and helpful to the best of our abilities, and we tolerate no BS. Oh yes, and we also don't care for "ppl tht talk liek this, buz iz not cul 2 talk liek a reeetard". Please use proper spelling and grammar, otherwise most of us will assume you put just as much effort into everything else you do.
If you're interested in joining, please do not message me on the forums. I rarely check the forums (and as you can see, this is my first or second post here) so you may go a long time with no response. For the quickest response, please contact me in-game under the same name. If I am not available, you can contact our guild admins, Thui and Moonburn, and they will help you out. And if you can, please reference this post so we don't have to spell out the rules for you.
Hope to hear from you.
