Full agility. It's the only build to go really. If you want other suggestions, why not read the other long threads about this subject?

your both bananas.
Full Int is an aco's best choice.
you want to have a strong magic attack, and healing powers, pow adn agi only make you move faster and hit harder, but since your weapon is not for meelee, your better off by putting it all in int

Yes! Full INT is without a doubt the best way.

You're all crazy, STA is all you ever need. You can keep healing if you never die right?

Hey, when you change class to Disciple, do you get a chance to reset your stats again?

You two wouldn't recognize sarcasm even if it hits you on the head -.-u

lies!! 1 pow:1 agi:1 men is better!

You do, so just stick to a normal aco build for your life as one. You should begin learning about discips and their builds before actually changing though, so you don't screw it up once you change (you only get one reset.)

Until there is an official sticky guide that's GOOD, expect these threads to keep showing up. If you hate them so then just post links to a Sticky 8D

Stop playing around. You can't reset stats except in class changes.

People should really learn how to read before they post something =/
So I may as well quote myself with the answer.

Learn to read first kiddo, I’ve claimed that those facts where sarcasm in more than one post, if you don't know what sarcasm is then maybe wikipedia can help you :)

Very bad.I believe a good build would be something like 2:1 int wis.Good heals + enough mp to tough a while.

Well, for a new player there is not way of telling what a nice simple recommended Aco build would be.
I understand the sarcasm, lowest form of wit and an oh-so-clever first reply to the question.
So I assume that Int is good cos it helps me heal and kill stuff and wis is good because it gives more MP to heal with. Can I also assume that putting the occasional point into Sta would improve surivivability too ?
I am thinking something like 7 Int to 2 Wis to 1 Sta.

the good build for an acolyte is full INT thats right for stronger magic attack and great for healing, more int heals much better, with a little bit of WIS for longer MP for healing if u have a party u can buff them up,heal, at the same time attack, and a little bit of MEN defense,mag-def, and faster casting spell for "FASTER CASTING OF MAGIC AND BUFFS" now do u get it.
never put POW - its for melee type..."i never saw a sword in a wizards hand, even gandalf"
never put AGI - you are not batusai the slasher
never put STA- ur not a horse casting spells, ur a magic type.
acolyte needs INT, MEN, and WIS.
THATS ALL! BRIGHTEST BLESSINGS TO ALL!

Obviously, you do need POW to equip higher level weapons. -_-
And I have seen Harry Potter holding a sword, but he doesn't really count as a wizard, amirite?

okey guys put some POW to ur acolytes! ^^, and be a frontliner like harry potter^^, pradalady what did harry do with a sword? harry's not a true wizard yet, he's still studying, hes more lika a xenian to me ^^, thats why he carries a sword^^, (joking around)
okey ill try to put some POW this time, and carry a sword. thanks for the good tip.

ok... all this sarcasm and everything is just hurting my head...
Pow = physical attk, you want it? be a fighter. of course note that higher grade wands require higher pow, so aco's are still stuck needing a bit 'o' pow
Agi = fast attk, fast movement... you want this be a rogue...
Int = stronger magic... good for aco and mage
Men = after the patch i don't know what this does anymore...
Wis = more mp, not a great choice... but not bad either if you find yourself running out of mp easily
Sta = more hp, if your an aco you can HEAL YOURSELF, of course your party members come first but still you can heal yourself.
As for me, I am all INT with the exception of 2 or 3 points in Wis and Pow so i can use higher grade wands
