Here is a quest guide showing screen shots of that message that you can never get back (and with an annoying beep that you have to put up with till you get a chance to look at it). now there is a way to get back to that message, so not all hope is lost if you get lost in your quest, come visit the forum quest guide.

Note some of the texts in the quests are bugged, are actually available at a different level than stated, have typos in locations/object names, have quest items that aren’t implemented yet etc. Most of these bugs are well documented in the forums(use the serch function) so I will not address them here and simply post the screenshos information of the quest notifications.

If anyone has screenshots of the higher level quests then could you please send them to me to be added to the guide(I’m stll in the process of leveling myself)

yes i hope it will be useful for people, having one place they can look back to whenever they get lost(maybe we'll stop getting a million questions about where people have to go for a quest). I've been planning this thread for a while, taking screen shots, as I know how frustrating it is when you want to look back at a past notification and there is no way to see it.

In think it’d be cleaner to keep this thread purely as a quest guide (instead of 100 pages of discussion about everything related to SOS quests). Specific questions about how to do specific quests would more appropriately be handled in respective threads (as they already are).

The search function, (and looking through the forum archives) is probably the best way to find answers to questions. Most questions have already been asked many times (for some reason the same questions keep coming up, and people get sick of answering the same question 20+ times). Original questions are always welcome.

If someone is interested in writing a text walk-through for each quest, including directions, bugs, quest typos, non-implemented items, and links to all the threads where the quest has been repetadly discussed would be an excellent addition to this guide! :)

Having all the relevant information in a concise manner makes it easy to deal with the repetitive questions that inevitably come up as people can simply be referred to the guide. it's much easier to answer all the questions properly in one complete guide then it is to answer it in every single thread that pops up.





EDIT:-
There is so much information already in the forums, i put together a list of links that might help people with questions about quests. This was found by just skimming the titles and threads, there are also a lot of threads in the feedback and bugs sections.

When using the search function it works best if you open up advanced search, and then select which forums, go down to secret of solstice in the box in the lower right corner of the adv search page. That will stop you getting fiesta threads.

Hopefully this’ll help some of the more common questions, and direct you to appropriate places if you wish to discuss a quest furthur. sorry I haven’t had much time to make this better and more complete, if someone wants to add to it then feel free.

Don’’t attempt this quest at lvl 11. try it when you’re 20+ with a nice party. The sheeps helmet is useful if you’re resting a lot.

Warning: This quest gives you an item that puts you overweight, so you have to moonwalk to the other side of town AND back again. It takes about half an hour to complete the quest for 5K. in my personal opinion it’s a waste of time, and you can get more money and exp in 30min from killing mobs and selling loot.

No they are in-game, they also drop in Cobalt. The name might be different though; I've heard people call them pyro stones or something else, but they do exist.

hmm, if i'm not mistaken there's one quest for level 38 that is missing from the list. I've gone up and down the list over and over to make sure i'm not going crazy and don't see it, but it's definitely not there. Unless it's a new quest...^^

Well, all I can say is the lvl 65 quest is a joke...you cant get Fairy Powders once you reach lvl 65...let alone 30 of them and I'm not going to buy them when the reward is only some EXP and 50,000 Kron, and you can sell them for way more than that if you do have them :p

Unless I'm missing something and there's something coming up in a later map that still drops them...maybe somebody else will know about that...if there is I stand corrected

You have mentioned several quests more than once(in most cases in a row).

"Collecting Fairy Stones" near the beginning is mentioned twice, in a row, though I'm assuming you meant to show the reward in the second one, which doesn't show up, (btw is 25 Exp, and 300 Kron)

These were mentioned twice in a row that weren't nessicarry to be rementioned.
"Report of The Priest in charge of Class Change"
"Candyvault routine report"
"Taming Monster"

and "Request to deliver the letter [Essene]" lv 40 and above one, is mentioned twice, but not in a row, there's another quest in between.

I'm just saying so that the doubls can be taken out and spare some room.

Also there's a quest missing, that you get from Lv 11, and it ends around lv 15 (though it doesn't say it ends at 15, which ticked me off when I finally gotten the items...), It's the first Veggie Shop lady's Quest for 10 corn, and 10 potatos, for 30 Exp, and 500 Kron. When I start a new Character, I'll try to get a S.S. for you.

Friend of mine has a ring and a random quest that they don't even know where it started at, he's level 34, Ring: "Karlstad's Ring", Quest Description: "The lost ring ... Bring back Castled ring which the son of Bottles has lost, to the guard. It is certain that sany cub that love shiny things swallowed the ring and ran away. <Reward> 1,00 kron 390 experience"

He doesn't know which Guard to take it to, can someone help? (couldn't find the quest in the list either.)

Well if he got the quest then it should be easy to do...

I can't remember which guard you take it to but it was one of them in Essene...just have it in inventory and talk to the guards the one that needs it will grab it and give you the reward.

I'm thinking it was the guard at the Mage Convene so I'd try there first but I cant remember for sure

He finally found the right guard, it was the South Gate Guard in Essene. So for future reference anyone that has that quest, unsure where to go, now you know! and knowing is half the battle! ^_^

Oh the pendants aren't used anymore for a quest except for the Pet quest.

They used to be used for a class change...you had to have one of each to change...I remember I had to to do it but right now except for the big pet quest they aren't for anything at all...I wouldn't throw them away though they might be used for something else later on

Not sure if its been mentioned before, but I tried to do the Lvl40 Guide quest "Deliver the letter." Part 3 of this question is given by the blacksmith so collect some pretty rare ingredients but also locks out the blacksmith from anything else. So I deleted the quest thinking I could just redo the steps to that point, but the part one of the quest is set as a completed quest right after you complete it and so makes it impossible to restart.

Oh well, what do you get if you complete this anyway?

O.o i am a new memeber here i just found a quest that isnt mention in any of you lower lvl quests (below lvl 20) you ask the north gate guard and he asks you to find his letter that he droped..and its to find the Pang-ah cub..^^' then also you have to go to the hotel and ask the manager to find the quest to which her son droped an necklace..and to get it back from a snay cub..i just thought i should mention these quests to help out

That's a mistype...you get the quest from the nerd guy in guild plaza whose name I can never remember >.> It's a 6 step quest, part 4 requires I think 30 hydrin, 20 fairy powder, 10 pyro stone, and 1 meridian_r (the last two are found in cobalt cave).

Hey, the lvl 40 weapons list quests for the guards in Candy Vault isn't completing for me. It says for each of the dual quests that I need 20 Solid fuels, 20 Firewood, and 20 rocks...In reference to rocks, I assume that it must've meant Training Stones, because I don't know about any other rocks, and I've been finding Training stones especially, but when I go to turn in the quests, it says I'm missing something. What's up?

For some reason I was doing the quest and the dang thing reseted after doing 20 SF, 20 TS, and 20 FW. =_= and then seeing if the blacksmith will do it again, he wouldn't and then seeing if the Guard would so something else. Then deleted the quest to see if I could start over, nothing =_= lost all that for IDK What reason, and for the South Guard (same quest) but different direction was not working for me when I try to give the smith the items.

It IS bugged quest....I did everything correctly, and got nowhere......tried deleting the quest to start over--wrong!!...now it suddenly says the quest has been completed, but I still had all the solid fuels training stones and firewood and the weapons list.

I recieved no exp or kron, and wasted a lot of time, kron and frustration over nothing >,<

I did it with three different characters this weekend fine. It looks like you can do it twice, once with the north guard and once with the south guard, but you can't. If you have delivery of the letter quest in your completed quest list, it won't let you do it again.

The one that starts in Brynhild works (with north guard).

there is not much benefits to finish the vegetable girl quest. most of the good quest start from Guild Leader in town, milk delivery in CV, CV ring quest, daily quest (gives u like 50k per day) and a few running around between cities quest.

20 spirit stones.

but on the quest buttom (alt+Q) i need:
30 image stones
30 soul stone pieces
20 soul stones.

i brought all of those items just to be sure, still guild manager wont accept. :mad:

That quest has typos. Please refer to this thread (http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213144) for the correct items. As for the reward it's a decent chunk of exp and something else.

im on the expedition of the cave cobalt...do i really need to kill all monsters for that quest? cause it says i need to clear 1st floor...then, what are 50 evidence of influence of the devil? cause i also need those..help?

Although this is an old thread...

These are two different quests.

The first quest starts with 50 eroded soul fragments, can't remember name and amount of second item, and the third item is eroded souls which are blue.

The second quest you need 30 can't remember what they are called (red), 30 of something else (black), and 20 soul stones (blue). These are autodrops which mean that for each monster you kill, one automatically drops without you having to pick it up off the ground.


Caution: If you have both quests activated at once, you must collect all of a specific item before moving on to the next.

Please post in forum if you were successful. Some people reported trouble with one of these Cobalt quests missing from the Guild Manager. Sorry I cannot be more specific. This thread will probably be closed.

yes i was successful with the 1st part of the quests.. :)

i was able to complete the ANOTHER ORDEAL quest wherein i need 20 soul stones (blue), 30 image stone pieces (red), and 30 spirit stone pieces (blue)... :D (tnx to wardomic for info :p) for the benefit of those who havent tried, reward for this quest were 614K exp (at least 30% based on my experience..[no boost]), 50K krons and 5 small elixirs. :cool:

unfortunately i wasn't successful with the other quest; the EXPEDITION TO THE CAVE COBALTS.. wherein i need 50 fragment of eroded soul (1st floor), 40 eroded spirit (2nd floor), and 30 eroded soul (3rd floor)...this very unfortunate cause NO ONE IS SELLING the items for the 2nd & 3rd floor :mad:..and my def is way low for that cave (mess up points :(). FYI: no need to kill mons as long as can give complete items to guard.. :eek:<--noobish me

so a call for help to those who has those items...sell them...CHEAPLY! ill buy :D my char is not grinding at this moment for the reason that...i want to know the exact reward at that certain level...and also cause im lazy :D

and last..correct me if im wrong, is this 2nd part quest the same with the level 72 STRIKE FORCE TO CAVE OF COBALTS wherein you'll get 1M exp & 50K krons (got it from this thread) :confused:

bro the quest kron storage service is error isnt it? it says that we have to talk to NPC yozette but when i talk to him, he didnt say anything except "do you have any other bussiness with me?" any idea? sorry noob question

simply open your quest log with alt q and delete the skill master's request(involves the sewers) and everything should be fine.
