Spell Help

Ok my mage is in level 25. I still only have the spells up to level 19. Is there a point in buying the level 21 Magic Missile? The cooldown is 4 secs -_- and my fire spell has 4 secs cooldown. My other spells have 15 cooldown. Is it a wise choice to buy level 21 Magic Missile? Like when I fight that means I have to wait more D:

Any advice?

I'm not a mage myself but I have heard from many mages that they just spam their level 1 skill for magic missle and none of them really bother to upgrade it as well. Maybe you could upgrade it for soloing purposes but....I don't know. It's just something I heard.

I do use my higher level spells when I'm soloing. They are less efficient, yes. But they do output more damage in a short period of time (say, a mob running at you). It really is your choice. If you get somewhere and you simply cannot kill them before they reach you, upgrade.

I have noticed that the Ice Bolt spell is more effective as it's upgraded. So it slows enemies movement more.

I use magic missile 1, firebolt 1, magic blast(the highest level I have), Ice blast(or bolt), the highest level I have, magic burst, the highest level I have, and nova frost.

So I'd honestly say no. Stick with magic missile 1, it ultimately does more damage.
