I'm still having problems with this supported thingy

whenever I try to in it says 412: obsolete verison detected and it saids update to supported verison whatever that means

the game uses incremental patches and you missed too many. you have to download the whole client again from the download page.

I got all patches, but ti keeps saying "applying patch.." and thats it.
Do I need to install whole client again too?
