I dont know what is the issue with the client but going through start programs etc is not working properly for updating. It gives me could not connect to update server. What i ended up doing was going through windows explorer to
C:\Program Files\Outspark\Solstice and clicking the SoSsetup for online setup. Setting the settings then i ran the update.exe and then i clicked the SoS client and it ran str8 to the updates. Now if only i can get the login to work i should be set XD. Thought id post this for those having issues with their update process and so that the team can see what could be done about it in future patches. Just curious but is there an .exe that makes the client check for patches? If there is id like to know it so that i can patch it that way since it doesnt load up the patch connection when it first starts and i have a pretty decent connect. Thanks.
