It looks like the virtual memory buffer gets overloaded to me.
It might be solved by increasing the Swap size to higher value.

This is a delicate process and if you mess it up you can mess up windows bad.

I dont know what does it mean by buffer full or terminate Fiesta.bin but it realy gives me a hard time....i to have the same thing happen up there to those guys:(...i dont know whats the problem i reinstalled fiesta 6 times still the same but the 7th time it was okey at least for 2 hours then it happen again tried the 14th time didnt stay for two hours...restart the pc then i tried again until the 7th time didnt went to 2 hours..Anyone pls can help with the problem...i dont realy understand computer language..if you know what i mean...:(

-screams- Aargh. Got the same problem. But it's kinda weird, I also get the problem when I enter Roumen. ONLY then. I just logged in and used a return scroll to Elderline and now it works.. But dunnow if that's a positive thing or not. 'Cause Roumen doesn't work.

I have the same problem I just wanted to look at a bug forum hoping I could find a solution and I'm happy I found this. :D Unfortunately there isn't a solution posted yet :mad:

When I first entered the game this happened,when it persisted I restarted my computer and it didn't work,so I deleted my character.I was at a low level so it wasn't such a big deal.It worked!:D I didn't have this problem till today and I've been on fiesta quite a few times by now.

Also I think the reason it worked is because I changed my type of character.I played an archer and I think it's the only class that's bugged for me.I haven't played archer since the problem and I tried today and it happened again.

So maybe you can try what I did and hope it will work.Also,I sugest for the ones that didn't have an archer at the time to try a different character.

:confused: NO WAY am I deleting..lol lvl 17 Fighter & lvl 13 Cleric ! Both stuck in Roumen! Surely there's got to be a way to fix this.. Anyone know if its the game? Or all of our computers? Also does this happen on all 3 servers or just Bijou? (might of spelt that wrong):rolleyes:

Uhm, deleting your character is not really a solution. Because it takes some time to level and it doesn't really work, because the problem is only when you're in Roumen. I got a cleric and a fighter, but both the same problems. It doesn't matter which character you have. I can only recommend a return scroll. For the rest, I really don't know. :confused:

I'm having the same problem too. I'm an archer, stuck in Roumen with no way to get out. About 5 seconds after logging in, I get this:

Upon researching, I found some information that might be of use. Please try this and then tell me if it helps at all. This issue/problem is not one that OutSpark can fix. The only person that can fix it is YOU!

From the way it looks, and I checked it on Windows XP and Windows Vista, you have to follow these simple steps to fix the error. Control Panel/System/click on the advanced tab/then click the performance button/advanced tab again and then/virtual memory

Virtual memory in Windows is just using your hard disk as alternative memory. The computer "swaps" memory between the RAM and your hard disk. You will hear it referred to as a "swap file" sometimes. This isn't the same as overclocking, which usually involves changing the speed of your memory clocks to improve performance (but potentially overheating your system!)

There's no danger to increasing your swap file size, other than the fact that it will reserve that amount of disk space. But if you have a ton of disk space, that won't be an issue. The recommended size windows gives you is ok, but you could up it by 50% if you have the free space.

If there are any other questions, please feel free to PM me or Google search 'increasing the Swap size to higher value' or 'increasing the Virtual Memory size to higher value'

I know it's a big problem to those that have a high leveled player.I wouldn't delete it either,and I've inspected the matter further and you don't have to delete it....I just did a restart and it worked....:confused: I sicerely don't know how to help...I'm not a specialist in computers.

Also another advice: Don't wait for the GM's to fix this bug because it could take a long time and there are other urgent things they have to take care of.Don't take it wrong I'm not telling you to ignore the GM's it's their job to take care of bugs but you shouldn't rely only on them.

Try to find a way to get around the bug,I just told you my experiences that doesen't mean you can't find your own way.Don't give up too easily.

Me too,just one character in Roumen and only when she runs past the Blacksmiths !! I even logged into my daughters comp and it still did it to me.My character in Elderine is fine. :(

Same as everyone else for me. This ONLY happens when Im in Roumen, I havent been high enough to go to any other towns yet, but while Im out killing, I do great, and do it as long as I please. When I die, or walk back to Roumen, its a lag spike from hell, lag, lag lag, buffer overrun error... Then I log back in, no matter how many times I try, I get the buffer overrun error in less than 30 seconds. The only two ways that I have been able to fix it, is logging off for at least 2 hours, which is complete BS, or taking 3 steps at a time on my 30 second or less log ins, to make it out of town. Which doing it that way takes close to 20 minutes, depending on where I am in town, but still better than waiting 2 hours...:mad:

My husband has just followed the correction suggestion ,he increased virtual from 1980 to 3000 and guess what?......................... still f****ing did it when I logged back ,arrrgggg. The fact that it does it even when I'm on another comp proves that the problem is with Outspark. I'm doing the same thing as the above,lag walk,dc,lag walk dc,till I get passed the town centre.It's agony. I 'd delete and start again but I've paid good money for hair face ,dress for my character and loath to lose it.Please Outspark do something.

I have 2gbs of ram, and i increased my virtual memory to 4096, and only lasted 5 seconds on the next 3 tries. This is getting very frustrating. I agree with Myn19 about the GMs having bigger, more important issues to worry about, but really, how important are those issues when so many of us can't even log into the game in the first place? I would think getting people into the game is a higher priority, and then working on the bigger issues that are actually in game.

:mad: OKAY!! Now i did what was suggested.. But now I'm not even getting the alert! I take 10-20 steps after logging in and Fiesta just Shuts down and the Outspark Launcher shows up just like you had just logged out!? ***!

I agree the GM's are busy as well , but if all of us can't even stay "in-game" then i think it should be a pretty urgent thing!:(

From the sound of it, there is to much LAG for Fiesta to handle at the moment that you are logging in. Please include the server that you are playing on and I will pass this information on to a CL or GM. The suggestion that I gave you SHOULD have fixed the problem, but if it didn't, HEY you now can run bigger, better, and more programs at once. If it didn't work, you can adjust it back to where is was before.

Hope I can get this resolved soon!

I kept getting the same problem, and it is only in roumen ... what i did is just keep logging back in walk about 10 steps. Get Disconnected, log back in walk 10 more steps and finally I got out of Roumen and the problem stopped.

i found away to solve this problem juz move ur char away from town area to the mobs area den should be alright u must be wondering how to u move ur char when the thing keep pop out? ans is dun care how many time u d/c juz move ur char alway from town after that dun stay at town area too long at least working fer me...

After I logged in. I quickly went to charc. hide mode (shift + Z). After all the Shops/Users and spammers disappeared.. go threw your chat box.. right click on ALL visible spammers and block em all.. This worked for me.. actually as soon as i went to hide mode.. everything seemed to work fine! But I still can't talk to black smith james (think that's his name) Hope this helps you guys! Don't feel bad though, this took me 8 hours to finally figure out..:rolleyes:

I get the same message all the time, it doesn't matter where I am at I get it.. towns it happens more frequently in. I believe it's caused by having too little of ram on what ever computer you are using. That's my belief. Anyways, to avoid it I just go into hide while in towns. (any town) and that helps.

Problem is you can't vend or be in a group while in hide mode. But other than that. I've not had any issues with it.

If it is a problem with fiesta then I'd be interested in knowing that. But from what I can see it doesn't matter what class you are playing, just if the town is heavily populated (or area if not in a town) I personally know that I have low ram to begin with so I chalk it up to that. But if anyone else here has the same issue and they have 1gb of ram and a good graphics card, please le'me know then I will know it's not me but them.

I will say this... it's been more frequent of late.

I have 4 GB RAM and a (newer) Graphic Card.. Im going to have to say it's something to with the coding or en-coding.. whatever.. I strongly believe it's something to do with the Fiesta client!... :( I very well could be wrong.. but there had been MANY people having this problem! So I have a hard time believing it's all of our computers! ;)

hmm, I agree, if others who don't have low ram are having that issue then there is something else going on. *I've just always assumed it was because of lack of ram* I've reloaded the game more than once it doesn't make a difference. It is rather frustrating though. So I hope someone can tell us what's causing it, and how to fix it soon. Until then we just have to work around the situation, I guess.

i don't know if i m in the right post or not.. but im also getting dc all day now T-T..
i didn't get any buffer over flow warning... it just suddenly dc every 5-20sec.. after i got lagg then all around me frezee (the longest was about 30sec ^^) then DC again...
if not it said "failed to connect to server" or disconnect from world server

1st i thought its my i-net connection.. but its fine opening other website.. & i've tried to reconnect my i-net several times now..
& also try turn off my firewall, but it still doesn't work T-T

then i tried to play in other server.. (usually i play in bijou..).. apoline & teva..
but the same problem happen again DC every 5-20 sec..

then i tried to re-install the launcher..
but still remain DC every 5-20 sec...

i've tried to login from (my time zone) 15.00 now its almost 23.00 still get DC every 5-20sec T-T

all it is is a coding error the game creator hasnt fixxed I PERSONALLY HAVE NOT recieved it in a long time
it has to do with the buffer getting full and not clearing itself ( THUS BUFFER OVERRUN) MY FRIEND WAS GETTING BUFFER UNDERRUN for a while but that stopped when he got a new vid card

...You're all lucky. At least most of you get a few minuets or hours before you get this message. I get this message as soon as I log in! I can't even scroll out because as soon as it's done "loading" when I see my character.. it pops up. I don't have time to move or do anything.

Update. While I still get this message, I recently added more ram to my computer... I don't get this message but maybe 2 times a day now, and it's usually in town in highly populated areas, and only after I've been in game for oh 5+ hours. ^^ Much improved. So I'm gonna guess Ram might not be all of it, but from what I notice it seems to have a factor in it.
