The solution to the "I was invited as a CB2 tester, but now I can't play" problem

Ok, first thing's first, you have to have the email that looks like this:

I just got my second one a few minutes ago. Before I got it, I couldn't even see the closed beta forums.


After you get this second email, log out of the forums and log back in.


Apparently, Outspark doesn't add you to the CB2 Testers officially until after you get the second email. You should be able to see the Closed Beta part of the forums now. Hopefully that will also get you into the game. I haven't finished downloading it yet so I'm not sure.

Good informative post. I agree with everything as I just received my second email and can now see the Closed Beta section as well. Haven't checked in game either yet, so not sure if our logins have been finalized.

well i got the 2nt email loged out and back in i can see the closed beta forum but theres no posts there so i go to make a new thread and it saids you dont have permishion even tho i have both emails so now what?

I posted in the technical support section the same Post as well, if you wanted to check back there on the other replies. Figure it would help those that only visit one section. And wouldn't it be nice if this post got Stickied? Ah, nice to dream, I guess, lol.

It'd be nice if it got stickied. Getting pretty fed up with the same posts with slightly different topic names getting thrown up all over the message boards. Would help to stem the flow a bit, heh.

Ah, AuraofChaos, I haven't actually gone in there yet. Perhaps the only one that can post in there are the*GM's or maybe since its just started up, they haven't been able to properly activate that part of it yet. The only thing I can say is be patient. It seems like patience is paying off for the other part of the issue.

Now, one question for you though, have you been able to connect to the game itself? As*I have not yet finished my download, I haven't been able to check that part yet.

Ah, sorry to hear that. At least you only have an hour of work left tho, then your download time and then hopefully play, play, play :D

Hmmm.... maybe if there's anyone at your house you could have them start it up? Just a thought to help you get a head start. Anyway, good luck and I hope you have fun when you can get on. Also, I tried to post in the CB forum too, and it did the same to me... I checked after you had mentioned it just to be sure.

the second email i recived 2 of them one at 4:03 and anther at 4:27 there exacly the saim with the exeption of when i got them

Lol, maybe that means they want you twice as bad? LOL

Well, with as many people as they send it to, they will be bound to screw up once in a while.... But I really don't understand why they don't just mass mail them... Or if they are afraid of server clog, mass mail them in batches. That would make so much more sense, lol.

about what time should a person recive the e-mail? it is 9:22 P.M. here (-5:00) and still not even the 1st one. about a day or two? alredy dl-ed the game.

if you didnt get the first one you wont get the second one till you get the first one,you first emails are sent out in batches you have to wait for the next batch no clue when that is

Aya20- If you didn't receive the first one already then you were not accepted as a CB2 Tester and you won't receive the second one. You'll have to wait till they decide to pull more players in or untill they have the open beta. Check back though because they said they may pull more in at a later date. And keep an eye on*your email just in case. Oh, and they don't have a set time it appears, because it seems they aren't massmailing them. Imagine having to send 1000 emails all seperately...


AuraofChaos- I was able to get in the game and play. Its cute and definetly worth the wait. At least that's my opinion.

Yep, it worked for me. Just make sure you install all the options or it won't work. Probably why so many people are having problems with XTrap, though they don't listen to me... The only reason I'm not playing now is because I remebered I said I'd update if I could get in.
