Random guild invites

As much as I appreciate being invited to a guild, it would be nice if someone would actually TALK to me about the guild BEFORE inviting me. The leader of one of the guilds invited me in, and since I haven't been in one before, I decided sure why not. Well I sent a pm to the guild master thanking him for inviting me and said I have a few questions about the guild itself, such as if it is an exhibition guild or a pvp guild. No response.:(

I know most guild masters DON'T do this, but I am pretty disappointed if that is his idea of a recruitment drive. I mean, he doesn't even know me, nor do I know any of the guild members, who also did not make any effort to help me.

Just wanted to post this to see if anyone else had this happen before....and also to let the guild masters who do this know it's not very polite and gives off a bad impression of the guild. Thx.

Well I have found a better guild now and things are much better. Just be patient, you can tell a lot about a guild in the first few minutes after you're in. :D

I had the same experience before but they just wanted me to join coz they are at war with another guild & dont have a cleric at that time. Ofcourse i refused to join them coz im not a "help us now kick you later" guy. Be sure that when you join a guild, they will welcome & help you either with your quest or simply leveling. I have read your application to RUTHLESS guild and Im 1 of the first 6 members, the application is closed for the moment but feel free to ask ALMarlon in-game if he will consider you again in the guild =)
