if you mean the x trap then thats why most of us are having the same probs some can play when they turn off all there firewalls and the unlucky ones like my self well were just screwed...

Just restarted my computer and with a few clicks to close boxes and okay internet access through Norton Antivirus, all is well.* Didn't have to reinstall.* Just opened game to check it out for the first time, but haven't tried to play it yet.* Seems to be okay though.* Good luck all!

use the shortcut for the outspark laucher that is in the outspark folder

- reinstall again with dedault (not change anything)

Using Comodo firewall + AVG Antivirus, getting same error msg.


Tried reinstall, disable AVG + firewall. Same result.


Using launcher in Outspark folder fail.

I had the same error come up...To fix it all i had to do was just uninstall the program and reinstall again. After that try to reboot your comp and everything should be normal.


Im just having one error where i keep getting booted after logging in grrr.

Well apparenty this is a know issue with Xtrap when I had this problem with Sword Of The New World I searched everywhere and finally found the file it was trying to update but can't remember the name or website. Try searching the SOTNW website forums and you might find it in there. Good Luck and if I remeber correctly it was some weird french or italian*file hosting site that had the file.

Guys I found a way around it (Well for me anyways) Since I use FireFox, Internet explorer is disabled. My internet Explorer is always "Work Offline". But If I go to it and connect, the game allows me to play. I dunno why, its like that with my msn too. I hope this helps some of you out. If anyone knows why it works because of this, be free to explain lol. =P

hey dschang, i have a problem, i dont know if its from xtrap or not though. after the varification process of the flies, then the installation, is where the error occurs. when it starts the installation process, nothing happens, it just freezes up. i tried pming CatsClaw already with more details, but there's no response yet.

this is how to fix the problem


down load the given file, unzip it, and paste it in:


C:\Program Files\Outspark\Fiesta (or where ever you may have saved it to)


press "yes to all" when it asks about replacing the xtrap file and it works!


now all i have to do is wait for my invite to the beta (maybe they will invite me cuz i found a way around this lol)

the one thats already in there then click on the launcher xtrap should

Don't know if everyone's problem is solved or not, but for the [00010001:80004004] error, I simply had to allow "dna.exe" (found under C:\Program Files\BitTorrent_DNA) and the luncher through the firewall. That solved the problem.
