Difference between squire and neophyte

Hi all, I'm new to the game and was just wondering what the difference is between the squire and neophyte classes. I'm sure things change as you get higher in lvl but right now there doesn't seem to be a difference between them. I raised 2 toons to 16 to try out the classes but they both seem to be doing similar damage right now with slash and threaten.

Squire = High damage and high defense

Neophyte = Super fast and dodge like we're in the Matrix but not as strong as Squires

Knight,warrior and warlord will have legendary damage but beyond that i know nothing. Rogues will still be dodge maniacs. Assassins will continue to be faster but this time we will have power also. Shadow Master fast as lightning plus super strength.
