on a lev 1 heal it says that healers amount varies as caster's intelligence stat.
and on the rest of the lev heal it says: amount that heals differ from targets to targets depends on the wisdom. is this true? can u heal more the higher the int and wis stats are?

okay i dont have an aco but from what its saying i could easily believe that...
1. the heal effect will increase with more int
2. and the target to target thing means that the wisdom of the target is what differs how much the target is healed for.
3. the most you can do to up the heal strength would be points in int, the wisdom is up to the target.

Uh, INT makes Minor Heal stronger besides new staffs and skill upgrades. The healing amount is the same no matter target: You heal for 45hp, you will do that no matter what other classes have stats in.

To put it simple, it's magic (and obviously the lvl of the skill) what raises the amount of HP you heal. And magic is raised only trough int and a more powerful staff.

That's it, wis has nothing to do with it.

It looks like you presumed I said the Minor Heal only heals for 45hp. What I did was taking example for my Acolyte being level 20. She heals for that amount. Will heal more as I geta new staff and put more into INT. Try compare a level 16 Acolyte and a level 29 Acolyte with the level 16 set, both have only invested in INT(The later had used one point for the level 20+ staff, mind), and see for yourself.

Wis adds mp,and int boosts your magic attacks-heals.

INT (magic) also boost success chance of special effects of your skills (Illusion Quake slow effect, Spirit effect, Oblivion effects, Ghost steel effects) aside from boosting their damage, and will also (like every1 said) affect ur heal ammount, all this is dependant on your Magic. This is why acos without a pure int build cant spirit / slowdown monsters way very high lvl, at 100% chance (or have even a 0% chance), lets just say is ur Magic vs Target Lv or something like that =P.

MEN will help your cast speed (but i heard is nerfed?) and your accuracy (why do u need accuracy?) and critical / skill critical (Not much to help u in anyways i think)

WIS doesnt add to heal ammount (really i have tested it, it doesnt)only will add a few mps and a few mp regen per tick (you will still need pots anyways)
if u wanna see how a point of wis helps u, just try equipping and unequpping ur acolyte brooch.

As for the rest of the stats they dont have anything to do with magical stuff, so yeah only INT affects your heal power.

which is why most aco's out there are going pure INT

Well, I and doing int to wis, three to one. As a result, I can buff a huge party, and still have enough mana to heal them as well. It's important to have a big mana pool, in my opinion. Otherwise you're distracted with chugging pots, trying to get them down fast enough to keep up with spamming heals. As far as strength of my heals, I can totally heal a lvl 50 squire at half hps with one or two casts, and then get the rest of the group. LOL.

On the other hand, as the only healer especially in bigger parties, I do nothing except maintain buffs and heal and sit. That is my job.

I also have a squire. It's MUCH easier to play her than the healer. You just smack things. LOL
