Good RPG? Better Than Runsecape? Help.

I'm downloading it right now, look's pretty cool, they removed pking from runescape, and WoW just really isint my thing, so i'm trying this out, is it any good..? better than rs? PvP? fast leveling? What's max level? help :)

Most likely better than Runescape, those who play Fiesta certainly think so.

No open/free PvP. Only available through Guild Wars currently.

Levelling is relativly fast if you know what you're doing, starts to slow down at around lvl30-ish though for me, just feels like less exp from quests and slightly more grinding.

Max level cap is currently lvl79, a few has already reached lvl79 and the level cap will increase further as the game reaches the end of open-beta.


EDIT: This information is based on Fiesta only. Some or nothing may hold for SotS. I don't actually know which game you are downloading. >_>

Compaired to runescape? No chance. Fiesta has great graphix, LOADS of places to go to, TONS I mean TONS of skills, wepons, armor and fun things to do. Your really going to like fiesta! Its am awesome game! Heh, join apoline server when you start. Its the coolest! lol P.S I know what rs is like ( lvl 44) but like I said. Compaired to fiesta? no chance.

As I have played RuneScape for a very very short time, I'd say you'll enjoy either SotS or Fiesta or maybe both.

Well, i've played runescape for 4 years, and nothing can barely change it, because i loved it, and i still have maxed pure haha, ( No life :P ) but i'm trying something new, hopefully this is the game.

Hell as far as I'm concerned, Runescape is the worst game ever and fiesta is the best game ever. Runescape looks like total crap.

In my opinion this game is better then Runescape, but on Runescapes defense, there's no downloading required, multiple servers, they have there own interfaces always open in game, but in our defense, we have a great forum, better graphics free to post in Forums, no paying methods. And we have auto matic guides. We're better then Runescape!

ya, i used to play runescape. (lvl 39) fiesta is MUCH better...exept for the skills, i think runescape has more open skills, but im not a vetaren to fiesta, so i dont really know.

Runescape? Please. Fiesta is much better. Runescape is a 3 on a scale of 10.
Fiesta, I'd give a 9.5/10. They need to work out some bugs. But I still love this game.

I played Runescape for about 5 years, and trust me, fiesta is much better. I quit before they removed the wilderness, but it only seems as another reason to quit, lol.

Be warned though, the fiesta PvP is NOTHING like Runescape's. You don't gain any items, and you must be in a guild to fight someone. It's not fully devoloped, soon they'll release a new area with expeirience boost aswell as PvP.

lol... i played RS for 7 years, and finished all the open quests, was a member for 4 years, was the leader of as 200 member strong clan, had millions of gold, and i loved every minut of it. the graphics mater nothing to me, because that just ment that my poor excuse for a computer could play it without thinking twice.

After all that time i decided to give WoW a try, and guild wars, and it ended up that my computer couldent handle them and i lagged to much, so i thought since i was trying new games i should check out the rest of the mmorpg univerce. so i played everquest, and maplestory(worst ever), and about 72 other mmorpgs, and i even got into a bit of paper n pencil D&D for a bit. So my resume for gaming is quite a good one.

as for outspark, and i only played SoS, and not Fiesta, and i've played since the first minut of OB.

all this being said, i must admit that outspark would kick Jagex's butt and hand it to em on a silver platter. SoS rox so hard. the GMs here are amazing, and the forums are the best in any game i have played yet. the players are involved, helpfull, and friendly. there are GM: held events around twice a day, and player held events non-stop. plenty of quests( and story quests to come, not just fetching quests). diverce and original monsters( unlike in RS where you get...goblins, dragons, and mummys....just like in every single game in the world).

outspark kicks butt this much already and it is only in open beta....RS has been around since jan 4th way back in 2001...once outspark gets into the real game, and has a chance to grow a bit...there will be no runescape, because outspark will grab a nail file and scrape off the blemish of a game that it is comparatively. (hmm...i like that metaphore..)

lol whoa, runescape must be a POS because compaired to 'Rappelz Epic4' fiesta has hardly any skills and weapons. I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THIS COMMENT.

I agree with horforia, only to add that yes, Fiesta beats the snot out of Runescape. I was a runescape junkie back in the day (level 74, ugh), but the community, the leveling, the tasks you have to do just become to mind numbing after a while. Fiesta is fresh and new, it's exciting and full of potential.

dont talk bad about runescape, its an awsome MMORPG for being browser based.
fieste is also just bashing and killing, and the PvP is only in guilds ATM and rather sux(although theyll add PvP areas later and will prolly improve it)
lvling is a pain at higher lvls and low quests but it has potential, which i hope they wont waste.

to the guy who sais rappelz, ye its good but the PvP system sucked, thats why i left it(my kahuna had over 1k pvp points so i didnt get exp was a beta player)

i play fiesta BTW , i dont like SoS, its not my style of mmorpg.

Any MMORPG is far better than Runescape. I don't think you can even compare Runescape with other games it's so bad XD.
I think you'll enjoy Fiesta much better when you get used to it.

Fiesta beats Runescape in every aspect, except that you have to download it. It loses to WoW on gameplay, for real. (It doesn't matter what your opinion is, WoW is more advanced) However, it has far too many stupid people for my liking.

I played runescape...got 4 99 skills and quit, this game blows it out of the water, theres no 9 year old kids trying to get a girlfriend, then finding out she is a he irl and gets scammed, following that is the annoying begging/scamming. So yea this game destroys runescape.

Hmmm well to put my two cetns worth, I agree that Fiesta owns Runescape hands down. I had a level 90 or 100 something with at least level 50 in all skills except farming and agility, and I gotta say it was so boring. While I admit my highest character on Fiesta is only level 45, I would never say I have run out of things to do, and it is always fun IMO, with the exception of teh occasional idiot.

hmm...i played runescape for a month and never would lvl up -.- i am still a lvl 7 and i played it 24-7......lol oh well....i LOVE the detailing and graphics in fiesta and how no one bugs me about certain things like they did in runescape XD Fiesta from my opinion is well made and i cant wait to see what they decide to do with it....hopefully they will get a player kill area soon

runescape makes you pay to have pets,and some certain clothing -.- fiesta, all u have to do is earn silver, and u can buy one ^ ^

there are honeying, slime, kabings, and more

sadly i dont have a pet i am too busy working on getting spells, heals, rezzes, and much more XD hehe in Xanthyia's pic at the top of the page, she has on her shoulder a small purple slime....lol these sometimes are marketed at 20-40 Silver -.- expensive hehe

there are guilds that u can join
if u join a guild, the guild name is listed above the username...there are ranks in these guilds as well....there is a Guild Master (the one who creates the guild), and Admin (who takes care of the guild if no one is on), and the council (i have no clue what they do...rofl), and the members (they participate in Guild wars and such ^ ^)

there are also GM's
