And I'm stuck between going the cleric route or choosing the path of the disciple. I love being a healer class, but due to the flood of acos lately, its become increasingly difficult to find a worthwhile party, and its difficult to solo as it is. As a disciple i don't have to worry about being in a party as much but then I have to stop being a pure support character in favor of being a fighter with self-support spells. I can't decide, any suggestions?

Im only 22 acolyte but from what I understand that if you like being a support class then stick with it for parties talk first to the people joke around whatever works to the I never party without talking before hand unless I already know them but its your chose.

It really depends what you love doing more. If you are good at healing/buffing and enjoy it, stick with it! It seems like there are lots of aco, but there are still lots of parties looking for them. Eggs are helpful to shout in maps. ;)

Or if you see people without an aco just ask to party.

I just hate this conflict, I love being support the most but its too slow going solo or looking for a party that will last for a while. If I continue as a cleric, it will take much longer to level up because of the difficulty I'm having in finding a party and getting moderate exp while soloing. Its a conflict of interests, I could give up being pure support for a damage dealer/support role and have a much easier time leveling, but I would give up what I started this character for. I need help figuring out how to at least get a party, I try shouting in maps, but even with a large group, they wont change areas for better exp. Any suggestions there? I worked out a pros/cons list for myself, but it doesn't help me much.

Cleric: Shareable buffs, strong group heals, multiple shutdown spells. Can't solo well.
Disciple: Can solo efficiently, better offensive than cleric, cooler looking. Not what i want to play, but it would be easier than cleric.

Hm, I had the same conflict, only... I wanted to be a Disciple from the very beginning, not a Cleric. When I got near lvl 45 I was almost assured that I should stay an aco because I was good at it (and most of my buddies wouldn't have any need for me as a disciple anymore)
However, at the end I decided for my character to be what it was supposed to be from the very beginning (and I'm glad i did). Although you can solo as a Disciple quite well, don't be fooled that it will be extremely easy :P (and soloing really get boring if you prefer parties)
So, I think you should become Cleric if that is what you really want to play. If you want to be more of a fighter, you're welcomed to be a Disciple :D It's so easy.

Well, being the third in CB I know your feelings. You have to consider several key-factors in this issue:

- You will loose all Acolyte skills and can't retract from your decision.

- You will "start over" again without at slow(level 51) down or stun(level 61) skills, since you have to earn them.

- It's only one level away from getting Revive, making you invaluable for any team.

- The play-style will radically change from what you are used to with other classes, make Assist Heal your lover.

- Costs for gears and skills will change.

- You will have to dedicate yourself to POW to the fifties to get a start-base for strength.

- You can only support your team in two ways: Assist Heal(being a demi-healer, not semi as it works over time) And Eurajor.(MP-increase)

One of the biggest issues is as you said is about parties in OB where they stay quite a bit on low-level when they could be on a later maps without too many extra difficulties.(Shouldn't be that often for the 50+s)

It's about luck finding other parties if you can't make your party move to the next map when you know they can fight there. It took me three weeks in Closed Beta to reach Predictor as few parties were going towards Salem Valley or other none-crowded maps. ^_^'
