In the time I can kill one Halloween Starbear/Moonbear, I can also:
Kill 2 monsters within the Othellos forest(Which is 2-3 maps BEHIND CandVault)
And when I kill those 2 monsters within the same amount of time I can kill a Halloween Starbear/Moonbear I get these benefits:
1)I take 1/5th of the damage I would take otherwise
2)I get a whopping 0.13% MORE exp than I would from the stronger monster...
3)I don't have to stop to rest after 2 monsters so I save time and am capable of killing even more and gain a good 7x the amount I would gain within an hour killing these weaker monsters than the stronger ones
4)I kill more monsters and therefore gain even more money than otherwise
5)I can tank multiple monsters within the weeker area and fight a plethora of them at one time, unlike the monsters in the stronger area
6)I save MP
Point being this: I'm currently a lvl 39 Fighter who would prefer to kill monsters in the Otthelos forest rather than venture into CandyVault(Which is spelled CandyBolt in the quest menu for some reason...sort of annoying to look at) because of all of the benefits mentioned above...
Why are these stronger monsters giving so much less experience? What would the point be in moving onto a map with stronger monsters if you can get even more benefits from weeker monsters in half the time?
My suggestion: Raise the exp given from stronger monsters! It's kinda' lame when a lvl 39 can kill easily kill monsters around CandyVault and still prefer monsters I was fighting at lvl 25...
Edit: Forget that, I just got level 40, went to Eir to check it out. Went to the map just west of Eir where they have those wierd Scorpian-esque things. Fought one of those Scorpion things, killed it, got .30% I can kill freakin' 6 of those Whackles/Buricos/etc. in Otthelos forest for three times that in the same time I can kill one of those freakin' things. What were you guys thinking when you decided how much exp each monster was gonna' give!? Those things in Eir are ridiculously hard to kill compared to these things yet the exp they give doesn't come near qualifying as fair for their dificulty!
