Does anyone else think mages and archers should have some sort of small weapon for when monsters get to close? like a dagger maybe?

NO. Just run a bit and shoot again. And no matter the distance or how close to you a spell still does the same damage

i Agree With Gravvi.
Archers Are powerful and without any dagger... it will be just a spend of money.
Mages are powerful with their magic, and on both classes there is no change of dmg depending to the distance.

Definitely not. Archers have Natures Protection to keep the enemy from coming their way... but Mages should have a shield charm. Something similar to Nature's that lasts for a short amount of time, but long enough for the Mage to escape sudden death and divert it to someone else like Nature's.

Mages have higher damage for a reason. Kill them before they kill you. If you can't kill a monster before it does real damage, chances are you should look for a party or go find another monster to fight.
They definetely don't need a shield charm imo.

mages get fear at some high lv, its a strong version of nature's protection
archers and mages are long ranged characters - where will the 'long ranged' part go if we get melee weapons????

What if we had a weapon or skill that stuns mobs at close range? We spam all our shots, mob reaches us, stun is used, we run far then spam shots, mob dies. ^^

The correct suggestion would be: can we have a skill called "snipe shot"? The shot would give you 50/50 chance of killing in one shot one monster. (bosses and elites not affected)

I like the snipe shot idea but i think it might be more of a longer casting range.not just the 10 or 13m

the snipe shot will be almost godly o.0
i think an extra buff that lets you( or yr mage buddies you buffed) shoot a further distance.. like 15-16m for 1 hr.

Okay, there seems to be a misunderstanding of Nature's Protection. I'm an Archer, and I've tried this before, and it's gotten me killed.
Nature's Protection does what it says it does, it decreases our threat level, or agro. Now, the thing with that, is that it only decreases it for a certain distance around you, so it will not stop people from coming your way. Also, let's say I have a threat level of 5 (I actually believe this is how the game assigns agro), and I use Nature's Protection, which lowers my threat level to 2, the monster will still attack me, unless it has agro with another person who's threat level is 2 or above.
