is mage has the AOE skill as well?????

i wanna know wether mage has the AOE skill also like knight or rogue or not????
its really nice skill with the damage just 1 or 2 or even miss from each mobs they can kill more than 20 mobs in one shotttt... ***!!!!!!
so im curious if mage also has it or not? not lightning of course cause the damage in each mobs are still alot. i cant use lightning to more than 2 mobs if im solo.
if mage dont have AOE skill.............. mean........... this game isss soooo unfair man!!!!!!

I found it hard to understand what you ment, but i think you mean do they have an aoe skill that goes around you instead of you using magic.

Frankly that would just be pointless because mages are not ment to have monsters hitting them while they fight face to face.

Lightning is aoe, Icicle is used just like lightning, frost is also aoe.

But mages aoe doesnt go around them because that would be useless, although i think frost can hit enemies behind you.

hmmm wad i mean is
when i use lightning, the mobs will chase me and when those mobs hit me back the damage they cause to me is like 90++ (rudwork mobs) compare with the knight and rougue. they got only 1,2 or even miss from the mobs they hit when they r using AOE skill.
for me is kinda urghh....... i try so hard to kill 1 mob. they've already kill 10. lol
eventhough mage attack is high but mage compensate it with defense also rite?! wich is the lowest defense among all job i think

The mobs hit them 1 or 2 damage or even miss because they (the knight and rogue) have high defense and dodge. I am sure that you talked about enix + mush or maybe others.

Unlike mage, even if you used 6ap armors and stuffs, the mobs in Rudwork can still hit you more than 30 damage. I'm not sure whether if you upgrade all your armors to +3 +4 etc, the damage can go down to 1 or 2 damage because I never upgrade my armor to +3 and above. Plus, the defense on mage armors is lesser than all other classes which makes them the character that will receive the highest damage from mobs.

You can aoe using lightning at Rudwork but you need at least two acos to heal you and maybe one squire/knight to pull all the mobs.

i'd like to see more on this... it makes me sad that i can't kill a large amount of mobs at once, especially when that is what mages usually excel in (in other games like this)

i am sry it is inpossable to aoe with a mage, unless you have 2-3 aco's and then once you have that many aco's whats the point of aoning you never get enough exp for it, in rud i am lvl 59 i know i am only have lighting but the still do 100+ dmg to me i only have 334 hp! so you know what that means i am pretty much dead pretty quicke if was to even get 6 monster mop i would be dead before you know it
even the 3 aco's couldnt keep up unlees they where all high lvl and healed higher then 200+, so as far as i see we are not made to aoe in this game, we aint made to go to hihg lvl places with out a pt

AOEing with a Mage... alone... is somewhat difficult...

AOEing as an apprentice, well, I only used lightning in limited cases, like on two to three mobs that were under control by a melee character, lightning is a mob attractor, and if used carelessly, lightning usually means apprentice-death.

When you get to Mage at level 66, you get an AOE ice spell, Frost... now that didnt allow me to AOE on my own... but I find that AOEing with a Knight or a Rogue (with an aco in the party, of course) is one fantastic combination...

I actually think that AOE is a Mages area of expertise, by level 76, we have 3 AOE spells... sure, all other classes have AOE spells, but they dont give us multiple ways to kill multiple mobs for no reason :D

im a mage and i dont think its fair that i have way lower def. than any other class. My mage is strong but i cant do anything 2 stop from dieing. i have 2 have an aco. or otherwise ill die in like 2 seconds. :mad::mad::mad::mad: if i had stronger attacks than every1 then i probably wouldnt be on here right now typing this post. if i could kill an enemy at like my lvl in about 2 or 3 hits then my super low def. wouldnt bother me so much.:(

lol..u can aoe at brynhilltrsect XD !!! (JK)..well i allways aoe whit a knight cuz i ice, light and run..but MAGES CANT SOLO AOE ... T.T ..well mages are just fun to use ^^
