How do I learn riding skill?

Go to Merchant Pey in Roumen and purchase the wooden horse for 500 coppers and a stack of flotation stones then go to Skill Master Ruby and purchase the riding skill. Right click the skill to learn it. Then right click the wooden horse and once it appears right click the flotation stones to feed it.

If you already have a hobby just right click it

If you make your character recently, both riding and mining skill are already learned when the character is born.

All you need is buy a horse and flotation stone. Right click horse to ride, right click to get off. Right click flotation stone to feed.

Yes, just buy the skill from Ruby.
